Doors. Doors were such brilliant inventions, he missed doors. If he had had a door he could have gotten out and slapped whoever was bumping his coffin around. Though if he could get out after he had slapped said person he would likely have been on his merry way. He did have things to do after all, if he ever got out. The previous people to cart him around had not been quite so careless. There had been the occasional bump along the road as was to be expected but this ruckus? No it was entirely undignified and he wasn't really keen of being in the hands of bandits again. They were loud and noisy and not a lot of fun to be around when you couldn't punch them. Then he felt himself tip up, he would have put his hands above his head if there had been enough room, which there wasn't, slumping at the top of the coffin he groaned. What he didn't expect was for when his legs pushed up against the lid it opened and fell. Daylight rushing into the coffin, fresh air, the smell of the grass and the flowers... he didn't really notice any of it anymore but he could imagine it being there. He stood up, his clothes being exposed to the elements or what was left of his clothes fell to the ground. He picked up the cane and began walking when he heard the shriek. He turned to face the Roc eating some poor morsel. "Well, I don't suppose your species is any friendlier now than it was the last time it was about now would it be? No. I don't suppose it is." He looked around, there wasn't exactly anything nearby he could defend himself against a Roc with. He wasn't exactly sure what kind of fighting capability his body had and he didn't really have any runes or the ability to make any runes and he wasn't going to hide back in the coffin. So what did he do? Would he run? No, how would that look. A skeleton running away from a Giant bird. Such a thing would be ridiculous. No, he held his cane elegantly and began walking away slowly, making sure to make as little noise as possible, if he could just make it to the treeline without it noticing he'd be in the clear. To run to the treeline would likely grab its attention. Besides, it felt good to walk again. Oh look, a butterfly.
