Sleipnir excitedly pushed at the wall of his shell, working along the outlines he had made with his claw. Unlike his brother, he had no care for grace, only wanting to see his Daddy. The warmth that held him and the sweet voice that sung and told stories tirelessly to them at night. Somewhere in his mind, he registered a cracking sound as his brother broke free first. He began to push an harder at his Shell, spurred on by the images of 'Daddy' he received. After what felt like eons, the shell above him gave way, cracking in a jagged circle and resting atop his head, hanging down on his eyes. Unlike Skylark, his eyes were open, but hidden under the eggshell ad for a moment he wondered if outside his home was just as dark. Already squealing, he took no notice of the cold as he enthusiastically excepted the warm arms coming to embrace and lift him up. He squirmed, shiny white tail flailing midair. A ringlet of deep black hair hung out from under the shell, but as it fell it revealed a thick shock of white hair streaked with black. Sleipnir looked as close to human as he could, pointed ears and eyes shut tights when he was overwhelmed by the sudden light above him. His black wings stretched and fluttered gently in excitement as he registered that it was Daddy holding him and that Daddy smelt like limes ( he had yet to know what those were). Buying his head against Edge's shoulder to escape the light, he soaked in the full warmth that he had only gotten brief glimpses of the past days. Ignoring the throbbing in his eyes, he forced then open to see Daddy. Sleipnir stared up with deep violet eyes, flaked with gold. Arms outstretched and month opn in a less than toothless smile for Edge.
