Aria was about to speak with Ren once more when she saw something out of her peripheral vision. She turned just as a group of men, all of them armed, came sauntering down the docks. A dwarf, obviously the leader by the way he stood up front and in the middle, gave a grin that made Aria tense. She knew that face. It was the face that meant someone was going to be hurt, one way or another. The leader shouted, asking where their captain was and for him to step out. Aria frowned, going completely serious. This wan't good. The small girl, Anissa, stepped back into the group. Aria could tell she was afraid. Elani also seemed frightened, and had told the group of men where the captain was. Not a very good choice, but Aria couldn't blame her, people did things when they were afraid. She stepped up to the front of the group, before looking back at Maithien. She was in position to attack, but wouldn't do so without orders. One hand rested on the hilt of her sword, the other behind her back, gripping a dagger she had pulled out of her leather satchel. "'Ello. Can we help you?" Her voice was neutral, her brows furrowed. She wasn't worried for herself, but for the others. She knew how to fight, and Ren and Daliq both seemed as if they could hold their own. Katewyn would be useful right about now, but Aria couldn't see her. Mathien, she wasn't so sure about. "Well Mr. Maithien, it would seem we have some company." She winked, shifting the dagger behind her back so he could see it. Aria was glad that she had enough to buy new weapons, her others had been confiscated.
