Akio was watching the duel with concealed interest. So, apparently the worst threat to him were the Spirit Beast Tamers. Both decks had a strategy revolving around quickly summoning powerful monsters. Luckily for him, neither deck seemed to have effects that destroyed monsters, as that would make it pretty difficult for him to keep up his field presence. Still, that didn't solve the issue of beating powerful monsters. He'd likely have to rely on trap cards and his Core Overclock, which was risky. He couldn't always count on drawing the right card at the right moment, and he knew that much. Michelle's Fairy deck, though, while powerful, was less of a threat thanks to his core blaster and Powerhand's effect. He still was at a disadvantage, thanks to the unreliability of his deck, but at least he had last-resort options. Now, if only... Akio's assessment was interrupted when his phone started ringing. Testily, he pulled it out of his pocket to answer, but, when he noticed the number, he got up from his seat and sneaked out of the building, ignoring the annoyed looks he was getting. If it was him, it had to be important news.
