I can see it potentially happening on the basis of "fight fire with fire", but no doubt your fellow Blackhawks wouldn't appreciate you carrying around a weapon that perfectly represents the one thing they're trying to keep under control: the paranormal/superhuman

It essentially boils down to the question of "Would you prefer our local trigger-happy soldier as an ally or an enemy?"
