At some point, probably. But Helium was probably not as stockpiled like the US did to cut off the Germans.

Hugs/Peppermints when he was Germany made mention and posts using large-scale airships in military operations and displays, these filled and fueled by helium. As well: Gorgen wrote a post where the wealthy of Spain take casual cruises aboard airships. So they're out there and they're still in use.

German airships I think have also sort of been decided as being their sort of "super weapon", or unique thing in a way.
