It hadn't occurred to Katewyn that she had killed more then seven people now. She was comfortable enough with killing humans, but this? Was this supposed to pass as a battle? It was a slaughter. The men weren't exactly weak, but they had no defense from her gun and watchful eye. She had yet to face an equal, a hunter versus hunted. The captain was now yelling to people to board the ship. In her position, she could have covered their retreat. . . Alas, Katewyn wasn't in the mood. She abruptly halted her firing , and put her rifle back on her shoulder. Then, with a look around, proceeded to walk below deck.
