Thank you. well originally he was a character for a historical fantasy Rp. It was Rome vs Persia and he was the Commander of the Persian Army. Of course he was a man of ambition and took control of the Empire for roughly half an hour by virtue of the death of the Persian King who he had betrayed, before meeting his end by having his dogs eat him alive after being immolated by the Romans. He had been training his apprentice, yet the accomplice switched sides as well to his pride as he had taught his protégé well. At his death, his personal guard had an issue with the lack of leadership as they had all expected his protégé to assume the role, so a fanatic took on the mantle and became "Roshan" giving the illusion that he had not died at all. Thus was born the Second Roshan, the False Roshan. The Spirit of the First Roshan may have had an involvement in the Death of the Second by the Third Roshan, who was then trapped and entombed by his own apprentice the Fourth Roshan who is now the Roshan of this RP. This Roshan will eventually fall to the corporate takeover of the Fifth Roshan... So hence the backstory of the character behind the character.

As to the term desert, either or is fine. If there is no Desert in Gaia, then I can have him be from a continent across the sea from the mainland of Gaia in the far south and east which is a great expanse of desert and mountains. With blazing temperatures that no plants would survive due to the rate which water is lost by their leaves. Generally considered Hell on Earth by mainlanders.
