Should we be expecting a CS from Castiel tonight? Or. Nah.
The answer is definitely yes!!!!! xD
Name: Hunter Wade Alias: Nothing yet Age: 22 (yay! I'm playing my actual age lol) Personality: First and foremost, he hates what he has become. Hunter is an introvert that has always been a little bit different from everyone else; even before he found out that he was unnatural. Ever since he was little he has always felt alone, even if there were dozens of other people around him. Instead of feeling sorry for himself or pitying the fact that he never could really connect with other people he delved deep into himself and his own mind. He's an enigma on the inside and out, and has always considered himself to be an artist. At a young age he took up drawing, painting, and writing things like poems, stories, and songs, and found that he could connect with people through his art in ways that he never felt he could in “the real world”, and it became a passion of his to create anything that his mind could conceive. However, once his...curse was awakened his entire philosophy was destroyed. All he wanted to do was create...but it seemed that all he was destined for was destruction. This changed him in ways that he had never hoped were possible. Despite being “different”, he had always been able to see the beauty in the world, but now after seeing so much death and chaos and pointless oppression he wasn't sure what to believe in the world. He is broken...and he might be a very different man once he pieces himself back together again. Appearance: Hunter stands at about 6'3”, weighs about 173, and has a medium frame. He is a little on the lanky side, but has a slightly athletic build to him. His eyes are green and his hair is long and dyed in various colors. There is a particular sadness in his eyes that is sometimes too easy to discern and his smiles almost always seem forced. Hunter also has a strange enigmatic vibe to him, and it comes with an intensity that emanating subconsciously from him; causing some people not to trust him at first sight or simply feel uncomfortable around him. Powers: Exorcism- Hunter has the ability to, with physical contact the appropriate amount of time, destroy someone's very soul. He doesn't know exactly what his ability (or curse as he likes to call it) does or what all it is capable of, but he knows that if he can keep physical contact with someone for long enough while he channels his power he can feel the persons will crack and shatter all together, and that eventually the person will die. It is possible, however, if the process is stopped at a certain point before killing the person, to leave them broken, mindless, or in an almost mentally ill state. The power destroys the mind, body, and soul of it's victims, and doesn't seemingly have any capabilities other than causing harm. Weaknesses and limitations: One of the major limitations of the power is that it is a process, something that takes time and the retention of physical contact, and cannot be utilized from a distance. There is also the fact that every time Hunter uses his ability on someone, especially if it causes their death, he suffers from psychological consequences. When he sleeps or falls into a dreamlike state his mind always goes to one place; something that seems to be a hellish dimension where he hears the cries and feels the physical pain of everyone that has ever been the victim of his curse. There is one figure that he sees when he dreams of this place, a woman who is almost too far away to even hear, but he still hears her faint cries and torment. It is not known whether or not these visions are just nightmares caused by a guilty conscious or if that realm, that hell is actually a reality in his mind where the souls of the people he has killed or harmed are exorcised to suffer for eternity. He hasn't used his ability very many times, and so he is not used to the physical strain and trauma that it causes him, and if attempting it on someone with a relatively strong willpower he is left physically exhausted and in a weakened state until he has time to recover. (P.S. The full capabilities and limitations of his power are not fully known or understood at this time, and this will be updated as it grows and he becomes stronger) History: (I'd like to start off by saying that I always prefer just giving a skeleton of a history so that there is room for the character to grow organically and so that his back-story can be revealed throughout the role play. However, if you need more than what I provide I would be happy to change it for you guys :D) Hunter's early years were filled with questions. He didn't understand why he didn't have a mother like all of the other kids, he didn't understand why his father wouldn't tell her why or how she died, and he didn't understand how his father could move on and fall in love with someone else; especially their neighbor named Brad. Growing up Hunter had two dads, and the only thing that he knew about his mother was that “she loved...” him “...very much all the way up until she died and that she still does today.” He was told by his father that his mother was always watching over him, and that he would never be alone. Hunter learned as he grew up that those words might very well have been a lie. He always felt alone, mainly because his father was so in love with his partner that it seemed like he never had time for bonding time with his son. At school, he was picked on and bullied by the other kids because of the fact that he had two dads. He had never done anything to anybody but still they teased and they hurt him; growing up in a small Texas town might have had something to do with this. These things, as well as many others drove him to be a true introvert. He found art and writing, something that he fell in love with, and he spent most of his free time pursuing those things even through high school he never really had any friends or did anything else other than his art. After graduating high school he declined his two father's wishes to attend college, and instead turned the abandoned guest house into his own make-shift art studio equipped with a sleeping bag and a pillow. To make a long and boring story a little shorter, he lived like this all the way up until tensions between normal people and the “unnatural” came near the point of war. The government was asking for those with powers to turn themselves in, and for anyone who knew anything regarding these “freaks” to contact them with any information for a reward. That is exactly what happened. On the night Hunter's power was awakened, an anti-gay intruder broke into their home as an attempt to scare them into leaving town, but things went bad when Hunter's instincts kicked in and he grabbed a hold of the intruder from behind, suddenly bright blue light began emanating from his eyes and veins as the man he was holding on to screamed in misery. The next thing Hunter remembered was the man's lifeless body falling to the ground and his fathers staring at him in fear. That night Hunter's father's partner Brad called the authorities and reported Hunter to the government behind his father's back. Hunter was taken in by armed soldiers and transported to a secure facility outside of New York for the duration of the Civil War. He was a POW, and was treated like shit just for what he had done. He didn't mean to hurt the guy, nor did he want to be cursed like he felt he was once his power awakened. Once inside the facility, he met the first person that he ever connected with; a young woman by the name of Arya, and she told him stories of a place where people like them would be safe. Arya had the ability to create beautiful light patterns and images which she projected on the walls of their cell for entertainment. Sometimes they would sing songs together and her lights would move to the rhythm, but that ended almost as fast as it began. She was taken from their cell when it was discovered that she was using her powers and he never saw her again, but the word of her death reached him a few days later. When the facility got attacked, his cell opened, and he ran with everything that he had to escape, and was forced once again to use his powers to escape the grasp of a guard trying to take him back. Now, as he runs, trying to find Arya's fabled “safe-house”, he doesn't know anything except for the fact that he's broken...and maybe if he finds the place she always talked about...maybe if there were people like her there...just maybe he could be fixed. Other: He has killed two people so far, but he hears the screams of three in his dreams.
I'm sorry if it's a little rough....trying to type it out while holding the little guy was a lot tougher than I thought it was going to be lol....it took me an hour and a half to type it with one hand xD
