MK Ultra offered no response. It didn’t feel like a cold shoulder, though, so much as it seemed as if something was… blocking any response he could give. In fact, it seemed as if MK hadn’t provided any indication that he, in spirit and mind, was even still present since the two had merged — he offered Callum his body, and then, seemingly vanished. GM, meanwhile, kept his squinted eyes locked onto MKallum, panting as he struggled to keep up with the creature’s attacks, nimbly dodging the spikes that shot out of the ground. Nimbly, yes, but still only just barely, as it was clear that his confidence and competence in this fight wasn’t nearly as high as his last one. “How the fuck is that even possible…” GM growled, seemingly ignoring Callum’s questions as he glared into his opponent’s eyes. “I thought I sealed you up. How can you even do any of this shit?!” he barked, though still keeping on his toes in case he needed to defend himself. “Well?” he pressed on. “Can you hear me in there, kitty-cat?! Fucking say something!!”
