Well, I just finished making a character sheet in any case. I'm hoping to make a comedic character with some very big plot development, being funny sometimes and slightly unsettling other times. I gave him the highest level because, of course, the fun will start to happen when he evolves into Meowstic at level 25. I don't understand the relevance or importance of levels in pokemon RPs if one doesn't plan to use complex tabletop systems to figure out how much experience we'll get per battle.
Name: Espurr Gender: ♂ Species: Espurr Ability: "Own Tempo: The Pokémon cannot be Confused while having this ability." Starting Level: 20 Starting Moveset: ㊚ Confusion: The target is hit by a weak telekinetic force. It may also leave the target confused. ㊚ Covet: The user endearingly approaches the target, then steals the target's held item. ㊚ Psybeam: The target is attacked with a peculiar ray. It may also cause confusion. ㊚ Fake Out: An attack that hits first and makes the target flinch. It only works the first turn the user is in battle. Personality: Espurr was, is, and forever will be a completely useless asset to any pokemon team ever. For starters, he has seemingly no intelligence whatsoever, getting into all kinds of trouble or repeatedly doing idiotic things simply because he doesn't know anything. It works well coupled with his vacant expression and pathetic, waddling gait that he seems to adopt instead of running like a normal pokemon - most likely because it's very difficult to run on tiny, pointed feet. Next he is Mute, or at least he doesn't say anything at all. Some have attributed this particular trait to the aforementioned idiocy, but perhaps the reason he doesn't speak is simply because he doesn't want to yet. The issue lies in communication - sometimes it's rather hard to figure out whether or not he quite understood you or was busy staring at some point just above your nose. His final outstanding personality trait is Espurr's Unpredictability. It's difficult to make out what he'll do next - whether he'll hug you or hit you, or simply stop watching you and get bored. In a combat sense, this would be very, very useful if he wasn't weak and useless. However, one mustn't forget the genetic organ hidden under Espurr's ears that has the ability to cause an immense amount of damage if uncovered...perhaps it's best to avoid provoking him. Brief History: Espurr's history would be very easy to recount if he ever told it. Or spoke. At all. The real question to be asked is not "Where did Espurr come from", but more "What is he planning?", and "What will become of him?" - such things which will be revealed later on, once one has grown to tolerate or enjoy Espurr's presence.
