It stung a little to hear Katsuro tell her to smile. In the midst of all his silliness, she knew he meant nothing by it, but it still dredged up bad feelings for her. His advice was just about the same as the last batch of it; just wait and watch as everything turned out fine. It seemed to be all she could do ever. It was starting to get on her nerves a little. "You can show up if you want." She told Katsuro in response to his last little joke. She wasn't really in much of a mood to match his tomfoolery right now. Despite her meal only being half finished, she had a feeling it might be better for her to leave. "Sorry, Katsuro, but I'm not really going to be much good for company right now. You mind if I take off? I think I had better just go home." She hoped he wouldn't feel too awkward about her suddenly ditching out on him, but it would be even more awkward to just sit here and halfheartedly make small talk all day. If he was going to let her leave, she was going to pay for her meal and get going.
