Ummmm... sorry if these seem kind of stating the obvious, since this is the only RP I do, but the main things I can think of...

[hider=Moar]-Everyone loves the underdog, so unless your character has a pretty clear advantage of whatever variety then that's always more fun. For example, Syed may be a higher rank than the Varren's danger level but he's at a clear elemental disadvantage so he's going to have a hard time. Even if he wasn't, him being a higher rank does not make an easy win. Hell, he could still very much be defeated despite that. Depends how the fight goes naturally :)

-Working together with other characters is awesome and it's totally fine to do so as long as it does not pull the other character... out of character. You can always ask their creator if you're not sure. As always, creating opportunities for other characters is tres bueno, such as sending an opponent towards them.
