~Blackhawk~ "Little girl, if you drop your weapons now and leave, we might be able to avoid any...unpleasantness." "I mean no disrespect, but if you imply that I should let this...madwoman lay down her arms and go in peace after what she's attempted, then you will have to stop me as well. I have no wish to fight a child, especially one dressed so impractically for combat, but my honor demands nothing less than her death." "Well well, looks like we've got ourselves a free-for-all up here," Blackhawk grinned, grabbing her pistol in her right hand. Both hands now full, she continued "One elite soldier and two freaks. Gotta say, I hope you runts feel as good about the odds as I do, because I'm not putting a damn thing down until your kind are extinct." Two opponents in a free-for-all fight she could handle. But if they both turned on her, she'd need her juice; any other means she had of fighting on par with superhumans were surprise and skill. One of those was out the window and long gone by now. ------------------------------- ~Phalanx~ This couldn't be happening. King couldn't have just let off on all the pressure and sent Phalanx stumbling forward. Moreover, Phalanx couldn't have had so hard a time getting her footing straight again. Any other opponent and she'd have bounced back with a counterattack by now. She supposed this fight was also psychological for her; she was facing a true legend right now, after all. The fact was weighing on her concentration. But she wasn't about to surrender! Surrending in the face of the enemy was far worse than death! No, for now she'd fight. Turning back around to face her enemy, Phalanx brought her left arm around, aiming for King's right shoulder with the spike in the middle. If she could land just one hit, she'd be satisfied with this fight. If not, there was obvious need to re-train herself from the ground up.
