Allura was about to respond to Akira's suggestion when a man came up to him and began to speak very rudely to the demon. While Allura was fuming on the inside, she was surprised to see that her companion was able to keep calm throughout the entire ordeal and she began to wonder if he was actually the angel here. "That was very uncalled for....but I'm glad that you didn't feed into that man's anger. I think he was waiting for you to hit him or something." She said with a grateful smile and felt her own anger receding from her body. "But yes, let's go on and get the rest of our supplies before we have another encounter like that." With that goal in mind, Allura reached over and gently grabbed Akira's hand before tugging him forward through the crowd. However, people seemed to make an effort to stay away from the two as they walked, which made Allura's task of leading much easier than it had been before. Plus, she could actually see where she was going this time. Eventually, both her eyes and nose brought her to a vendor who was roasting meat of various kinds and sizes over a huge fire in order to make the meat tougher, which in turn would make it last longer. As they approached, the vendor glanced up at Allura with a look that made her glare. Apparently he did not get the memo that he was supposed to 'hate' the newcomers. "What can I get for you today, miss?" He inquired smoothly as he chopped up a bigger piece of meat in order to make smaller ones. "I would like a few of your cooked meat there." The angel said, gesturing to the ones slow cooking over the fire. "I can get it for you...how much of it do you want, though?" He asked, wiping his bloodied hands on his already bloody apron. Allura turned to Akira with a raised eyebrow. "How much do you think we should get? It has to be enough to keep us full for a while." She added with a slight smile. She honestly had no idea much they should get, so she hoped that Akira would be able to help her determine a sensible amount.
