“The other humans?” Martini paused, colorful eyes blinking down at the boy beside her. She wasn’t quite sure to tell him without dampening the mood even more, so instead she just led the boy back into the cabin before floating down and pressing a kiss to his cheek in reassurance. “Let’s talk about that later sweets,” she cooed. “just go take a shower and go to sleep for now. We have plenty of time to talk about things like later, okay?” The mermaid knew this topic was bound to come up eventually but now was neither the time nor place to talk about it. A raging Songbird made her frown in disapproval; the humans hardly needed a reminder about that jerk fish mayor when they were supposed to be getting ready for bed! Brandy watched as Song muttered angrily to himself as he strode out the door. He was rather worried and was tempted to go with the item hunter, but as he had been tasked with taking care of the humans he decided it would be best to do what Song had told them to do. If he took too long Brandy could always go out later to look for him in case he slipped somewhere; the lake shore was riddled with slimy stones and other dangerous obstacles. Seeing that all the humans were starting to go and take showers like they had been told to rather forcefully by Song, he decided it would be a better idea to unpack their sleeping bags and lay them out. Martini and the bunny sisters would most likely be rooming together, so he decided he and Song were probably going to be in the spare room upstairs. He trudged upstairs, sleeping bags in hand as Martini ushered the humans in the bath. After their rooms were set up he went back downstairs to find that the pink mermaid had disappeared somewhere, presumably to take a shower herself. It seemed that he had taken quite a while longer than he thought he did as the humans and other Nobodies had retreated to their respective rooms for the night, while Songbird had just returned as was standing in the doorway arms laden with supplies from the boat. “We’re rooming together upstairs if you don’t mind.” He quickly descended the stairway, walking to Song and unburdening the white haired man of his rather heavy looking armful of items, mainly food and walked towards the small kitchen, but paused when he realized how dusty and moldy the place was. He twitched slightly, staring silently at the room for a short moment before placing the food on a nearby table. A broom that was handily leaning against the wall near him was grabbed and brandished much like a sword would be as the bunny charged into the kitchen with a quiet “excuse me” to Song, closing the door behind him. Almost immediately after Martini came floating out in a long nightgown, and grinned as she spotted Songbird. “Song~ You’re back! I’ve been waiting for you!” She quickly dove for her bag before pulling out a pair of soft pajamas and a fluffy towel, exchanging the pile of fabric for the items in the man’s hands and nudging him towards the bathroom with her tail. “Go wash up now! And make sure to put your dirty clothes outside the door, I’m planning on washing everyone’s clothes tomorrow.” She looked over to the kitchen where loud bangs and clangs were sounding out, floating over and giving a firm knock on the door. “Brandy if you’re going to clean could you tone down the noise a bit? People are trying to sleep!” A short grunt sounded from behind the door as the sounds quieted down. Seeing how Song still hadn’t moved towards the bathroom, she gave him another push. “Come now, you don’t want to have Brandy have to wait for the shower all covered in dirt now do you? I've also put you two's clothes for tomorrow by your sleeping bags, there's no way I'm letting you wear those dirty clothes for tomorrow you understand?"
