I don't plan to be a rogue and go gallivanting around the galaxy, just maybe ask my bosses bosses boss if i could become an agent

Well throw up what you have and we'll take it from there. Just know that by the time you get command of a ship typically your career choice is locked in, especially the kinda ships that right now are in orbit of Belona.

I've found some ships to my liking. Not exactly what I originally wanted but, eh. The others were different era's. If you say I could have either or, I'll choose. If ypu say one or the other, I'll take the one you choose. If you choose none, I'll look for others. If you don't choose either, it might be best to tell me a max crew size.

Name: Captain (Commander to higher ranking people) Herald Dennison (Capt. Den)
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Affiliation: Galactic Empire
Appearance:

Equipment:
Medpac
DuraShelter
C1 Personal Comms
Pocket Secretary (attached to a Portable Scanner which scans for life signs and droids)
Model 434 blaster pistol (It has been modified for increased accuracy, making it optimum up to 45 meters, but lowering it's damage output. Still, it'll knock someone on their ass if it isn't a kill shot.)

Background: Even as a young boy Herald loved playing games where he had to think, but no, sadly he never became good at Chess. He could play, but he was never perfect. He preferred checkers. It was faster and still allowed for pauses. He's always worked with quantity rather than quality. Herald was born in 39 BBY. In his early years he lived on Tattooine, grabbing scraps from the Mos Espa runs for Pod Racing and would sell or keep some. He saved up until he would get a speeder and do more jobs for scrap dealers. He was smart and patient. Eventually he had obtained a small transport and did trade runs between Dantooine and Tattooine, until around 22 BBY, where he saw an opportunity to sign up into the Republic. He was a V-19 Torrent Starfighter pilot set in a squad of auxiliary support, but he never really got to see any action. That lasted until mid 19 BBY, where he was forced into the battle of Boz Pity. Where he was training each day, and getting better, he had nothing to fight. But his superiors decided to boost him up and see how he would suit in an Arquitens-class light cruiser, as just a fighter pilot was going to win a war, they needed a commander. He successfully defended the Acclamators that were moving in by defeating the enemies fighters. But his ship became heavily damaged. He could no longer make any jumps, at least for awhile. He had to retreat to neutral space to make the repairs. But once he could return, the battle was already over. He took his new orders and returned to Coruscant where he had received the ship. He wasn't exactly pulled into anymore wars after that. There were minor skirmishes he would help in, but he didn't become a main fighter. Eventually around came the new order and he had to make a choice. The Republics reign was over, and now the Empire would rise. He wasn't in the Republic to save people or be a hero, he wanted a ship to command, soldiers to order, he wanted respect. While he received the high ranks from the Republic, he didn't get what he wanted. The Empire was going to offer him everything. The ship, the soldiers, the rank, the money. So he chose the Empire. But he didn't want an Acclamator. The ship he aought out was a new ship of the line that wasn't showing promise as a frontline man. It was being put down but he appreciated its style and that it had a hangar. It didn't cost the Empire really anything to let him have it, but at least he'd be able to be alongside heavy hitters in a fight.

Reason for Joining the Empire: Herald always had a great knack for strategy and tactics while in a ship and he always loved it. He decided to join the Empire because it would have been entirely easier to gain command of troops and crews and gain a ship of his own. And with his intelligence he knew he'd be thrown into war, but he knew how to survive. He didn't have a liking for killing living creatures, but as long as he had his ship and was on the winning side, it didn't matter.

Naval officers were typically always naval officers, or at least fighter/transport/bomber pilots who moved up the ranks. There was never really any switch over from the Imperial army corps to the Imperial Navy, also just so you're aware with your age your age you've been a naval officer for about 25 years as we're in 5BBY just so you know, I mean I'm okay with that just that you know you'll be elderly and will have been in the Clone Wars.

Yep, there will need to be some revisions. I just thought it was typically hard to get into Naval in comparison. I want him to be at least 30 here so I'll have to figure that out.

Could you make a choice on the ship?

Edit: ah, yeah, I was rushed so I didn't think about it. I was thinking he was 17 by the time he joined. So right now he's 44. I'll edit history at break

It's all right. weekends I give slack as it is usually more of a real life chillax time.

Also I'm thinking of putting a new IntChk up, anything in particular you think I should add?

Also going to add in room for a low level(skill wise) Jedi, it has to be an amazing sheet but just want to let everyone here know first.

Totally agree on a low level Jedi, with what the empire side is cooking up, the rebels would be a joke without some force to match them, so yeah. A really good Jedi sheet tho. I pass, can barely manage my Eric.

He didn't have a liking for killing living creatures, but as long as he had his ship and was on the winning side, it didn't matter. To be brutally honest, he didn't have a care for the Empires ideals or goals, this was something he actually told Lord Vader in a very short meeting with. Lord Vader sensed it about him, and Herald spoke the truth as it was all he could do. However, he had honest intentions, and the Rebels would never be able to offer him such a position. While in the Empire he had riches, looked amazing, had a ship, a crew, command of loyal soldiers, and he could almost do whatever he wanted. All in exchange for using his masterful tactic abilities for the Empire. A little final remark he gave the Lord, "And, you know... Imperial does sound entirely better than being a Rebel." Ready for review

I doubt you would get away with saying that to Vader, and I don't see why you would have even met him. We got that you signed up as you wanted to do something, but what about a little more background about your actual service?

Vader tends to accompany many officers or others that he chposes and when he lands it is usually in demand of an audience, is it not? It would be expected that he could sense the doubt in Herald. However, he isn't that far from ideals as other soldiers. Most high ranking officera actually follow Vader because they believe in his mission. Others are there for their own reasons. Herald's doubt doesn't lie within betraying the Empire, it lies within money and power. The Rebels can't give him that and the Empire is practically giving him a mansion (in his eyes). So the doubt is that he doesn't care for the mission. Meaning it's not his goal, but it's similar to other soldiers. He was singled out because he is not in love with the Empire, but he likes it more than the Rabble Alliance... As he calls it. He follows orders without question, he doesn't secretly hate or dislike the Empire, and he has come to love ordering his troops to execute Rabbles.

Meet Vader? Not really. He was saluting and Vader stopped to question his doubt. He questioned him, he didn't kill him.

I forget, is the Deathstar in yet, or has been? I forget the time lines. How would doing service on a Deathstar sound?

Deathstar hasn't been finished yet and if you went onto the project you wouldn't be moved elsewhere. Also Vader wouldn't stop to just question peoples doubt, if you read the book Rise of Lord Vader a lot of people have doubts after the formation of the New Order. Typically Vader doesn't give a damn as long as you do as you're told, and he achieves that through feat.

First: I just realized get rid of the TIE bomber reference as TIE bombers didn't exist then, also it would take a couple of years upon joining the Imperial Academy, get promoted in say 25ABY, and then you'd get to see the clone wars so you could probably adjust accordingly. Hell in the Clone wars the chances for promotion would be ripe.

Second: Just remove the Vader thing all together please it just doesn't sit right with me.

I think after that's sorted that should be it.

Hey you know what? It's okay. I just realized I've been moving backwards then entire time. I have to redo everything. Just don't worry about my sheet until I speak up. I was going backwards from 30 BBY to 5 BBY instead of before BBY. This is my bad. I think I need to check on the ships, too. The one I wanted may actually be obtainable.
