It [i]can[/i] work. Just if you try to do something so pure as healing with thoughts of rage and anger it can end up doing the complete opposite. 

Such as how Force Lightening is an act of pure aggression, it isn't a move to kill it is a move to inflict [i]pain[/i]. You can't do that while in a right state of mind. Force Lightening is one of those force abilities that in the right mindset just [i]happens[/i] it doesn't need taught. While there is Electric Judgement that is "light side" it is far weaker and does require training.
