Kiara: She walked past Alchemist and waited for him.

Drew: He set the book down and followed her out of the house.

Kiara: She locked up and led the way along the sidewalk. They walked for some time, completely in silence. It wasn't a cold or uncomfortable silence though, they were used to long periods of not speaking and were completely at ease with not talking. They were passing by a restaurant when it happened.
