I'm not sure which of you asked the question but yes, you can play two characters though I'd like it if the two were a match as in... a sensitive and a contracted other or guardian angel. :) Since I had so many CS come in at once I just did a bulk accept and decline so take a look over this post and see where you stand. Also, I'm looking for someone to play with me as Shae's demon companion... I'll need to talk to you in PM if you're interested... STEFAN0620 AND DRAGONBUD you two would be my first picks as her pair because I've played with you before. :)

Personality: Quiet, stern, even tempered, never looses his cool and keeps his voice quiet even when angry, confident, and can seem unfeeling but he isn't.

Abilities: (The Keeper is purposefully overpowered as I'll be GMing through him, don't worry I won't abuse it.)
Hunters - By tearing the life energy or souls out of angels, demons, and humans the Keepers can create Hunters. They cannot be killed as their body is basically just a shell. If you destroy them they reform themselves after a time, their restriction is that they cannot withstand daylight or hallowed ground. They cannot think for themselves and answer only to the Keepers.

Balefire - They can use bits of their soul to fuel an attack that will obliterate any being it touches even slightly. It destroys the being completely so there is no chance at another life, they cease to be. Unfortunately, the more they use the ability the weaker they become and the more they fade away... Once the soul is used up completely they cease to be.

Duel Natured - As a Keeper he can use the base abilities of both demons and angels.

Rending the Vale - As a Gate Keeper Ruben has the ability to open the Vale and form gateways to Heaven or Hell.

Though Keepers can be killed the same way as the angels and demons, they will simply reform their bodies unless their souls are taken. They're basically immortal so long as their souls are maintained. Most of the time, the Keepers keep their souls apart from their bodies in order to protect themselves from final death.

History:
After thousands of years on the earth Ruben is still the youngest of the seven Gate Keepers. His views on things are therefore a bit more flexable. He's lived long enough that he has seen both sides ignore the rules that govern them, abuse their powers, and he has seen the Gate Keepers do nothing because of bribery or their own blind pride... He sees the world's balance tipping and there are far too few Gate Keepers to keep things in check and so... he broke the rules. As a Keeper it is his job to stay out of human affairs, he is supposed to maintain the balance and the rules... nothing more. Yet, he'd seen potential in the Sensitives where others dismissed them. So, when he was wandering the mortal plain and he'd come into contact with a sickly young girl who'd smiled up at him when she shouldn't have seen him at all he'd told himself it wasn't a softness for the child, a stirring of emotion in a long dead heart... He told himself it was curiosity, nothing more, that made him save her. He'd laid his hands on her and he'd taken her illness into himself... a body that could fight such an ailment for eternity. Then, he'd watched her over the years and seen her talents grow. In the meantime there was another Sensitive drawing his attentions, John Constantine. There was word of him, a Sensitive who was sending demons back to hell and angels back to heaven just for fun. The night Shae had met with the demon, Ruben had made his decision... He'd collect the Sensitives, he'd train them... There were so many that just maybe, he could restore balance with their help and save a rotting world from destruction.

Personality: Quiet, broody, short tempered, stubborn, determined, can seem stand-offish towards others... until you get to know her. Under her frosty exterior is actually a kind hearted, protective, and mischievous person. She softens a lot around Ruben but only minutely as she is obsessed with pleasing him, she sees him as a father.

Abilities:
Like all Sensitives, she can see the truth lurking behind the vale... If she looks hard enough she can see through the human disguises angels and demons wear.
She likes to draw and the things she draws sometimes come true, she doesn't realize she is drawing bits of the future or past and she can't do it on purpose.
If someone touches her she can sense their emotions.
She was trained by Ruben to exorcise lesser demons and banish lesser angels. She knows basic protection against either being, wards in many different runes, and holy symbols.

History:
Shae was only four when she started seeing things, it happened after she'd been diagnosed with leukemia. They tried chemo, it didn't help. Her parents tried to give her as normal a life as possible and one evening when she was out with her parents shopping, she wandered off and ran into Ruben. The Keeper, usually unswayed by mortal issues, broke one of the oldest laws for his kind... don't interfere with human lives. Her parents found Shae alone, passed out in the food court with no memory of what had happened but the next month her results came back... She was in remission and it never came back. Shae lived her life after that being medicated for the things she saw until she learned to pretend she didn't see them anymore... Until she could pretend no longer. One night, she'd been headed home from school and heard a commotion in an ally. She'd gone to look and found a woman being assaulted by a man who was mostly hidden in shadow. However, when she called out to him prepping to use her pepper spray her father had given her, he'd turned and she'd seen his face... and what he really was. The demon abandoned the woman and came after her, thankfully Ruben had been watching her since that day in the mall. Hunters came and tore the demon apart in front of her, ripping him limb from limb and scattering the pieces. She'd stood shaken and in shock until Ruben had stepped seemingly out of thin air and dismissed the creatures. He told her it wasn't safe for her anymore, that she needed to go with him and she went willingly after he altered her memory so that she believed her parents had died in a car crash two years prior. She has been considered missing since age 12... Since then she has been training with and working for Ruben, helping maintain balance.[/hider]

[b]APPEARANCE:[/b] Handsome, as pictured. Tall, lean and lanky, with scruffy black hair and a blinding white smile. His eyes are particularly unsettling and inhuman, a pitch-black colour that are simultaneously flecked with gold while not allowing any light in whatsoever. 

To the naked eye, his wings are non-existent, sealed into an elaborate tattoo on his back that only supernatural beings (including sensitives) can see. He uses it to keep a track of his impending demise. The illusion is stronger than others, concealing rose-red wings that, as the feathers begin to fall off, turn grey.

[b]PERSONALITY:[/b] In general, Malphael is charming – if a little quirky. He is a smooth-talker, a wordsmith, and often uses verbose language even when he ought not to. He admires and hoards the finer things in life selfishly, from jewellery and fine clothes to beautiful people (not just in appearance); however, he goes through periods of crippling guilt and self-loathing as a result. Even so, Malphael considers Falling to be the best thing that ever happened to him, allowing him the freedom to experience things like the strong emotions love and hate. He is weak-willed and indecisive, wanting both to return to his angelic ways by repenting for his sins and continue his hedonistic lifestyle all at once.

[b]ABILITIES:[/b]
[u]Healing[/u] – The natural ability to heal himself and others. Not very good at the latter.

[u]Empathy[/u] – A strange version of empathy wherein he can only feel others' physical pain and lust (for anything). With permission, he can transfer it to himself. This is useful because he has a uniquely high tolerance for pain and torment as well as impeccable self-restraint after a year of debauchery. It is somewhat related to his willpower as a former angel of abstinence.

[u]Conversion of Energy[/u] – Waste not want not. Malphael can take some of the life-force of a creature or plant and bolster himself with it; however, if it is capable of conscious thought he requires permission or an understanding first. This storage of energy allows him enhanced physical speed and supernatural endurance at the cost of reducing his remaining lifespan just as his fallen abilities would.

[b]HISTORY:[/b] Malphael is (or was) a relatively young angel, particularly immature and not entirely devoted to his code of strict rules. He abstained, as commanded, from everything that could lead him into sin and ruin. Before falling, he had never experienced strong emotions because there was no need for them. After a few years of merely observing the human world, he began to influence it, if only in tiny ways – [i]good[/i] ways, like saving a man from the grip of alcoholism via prophetic dreams. His work was a matter of pride for him, though it didn't quite lead him into sin directly.

Eventually he came across Evangeline, his first experience with a sensitive. Her piety attracted him first of all: she was a Christian girl with far too little confidence and a problem for him to solve. Normally he wouldn't have even considered helping but Malphael was leaning towards various sins anyway, particularly lust and envy, so he decided to wing it and hope for the best. He took away her problems (or more accurately, took [i]her[/i] away from her problems) shortly before being cast down for one misstep too many.

The first year of freedom that followed was fun, an entirely new experience for him as he committed various crimes and accumulated enough money to help his sensitive through university and life in general; however, he is beginning to regret it... if only because he believes Evangeline has a chance of ascending to a higher plane of existence after her life is over and he cannot risk his actions corrupting her. As a result he is not contracted to her, though he has pledged to protect her.

Personality: Not one of the most sociable people, especially after entering medical school where he spent the majority of his time focusing on studies. Typically serious about mostly everything, both in work and in his freetime. Still he can easily goof around, losing much of his hardened appearance, just almost never in the presence of others as he cares very much about appearing professional. Michael has a very strong sense of empathy towards others, this was actually the main driving force of him joining the medical field in the first place, none of the prestige or pay mattered much in his decision. 

Abilities: On top of the standard sensitive powers, Michael is also able to see the vital life force of living creatures. While at first he had no control over it, he has been able to stomp down the power from constantly interfering with his daily routine. When focusing hard enough Michael can see a type of aura emanating from anything that is living, this also includes plants. As something comes closer to death, its vital aura slowly dissipates before completely vanishing at the exact time of death. There have been benefits to this ability, as a paramedic being able to tell how close a patient to death has definitely been a boon, however at the same time Michael doesn’t see death the same way anymore since it has lost a lot of its mystery and simply is no longer as sensitive to it. Michael has not received formal training in any kind of banishment, so of course as such cannot perform the act on either an angel or demon. 

History: About a year ago Michael graduated, and soon after found a job as a First Responder at a hospital. Through the months after starting Michael experienced first hand the many different injuries that the human body could endure, bites, third degree burns, broken or even missing limbs, heavy lacerations, horrible infections, gunshots, and… well there’s no need to mention any more. One night while on call Michael’s life changed for good, while responding to a dispatch the ambulance he was assigned to skid toppling over into a series of devastating rolls. The frame of the ambulance was completely crushed, everyone dead except Michael of course, who beyond logic managed to survived only barely hanging on. There still is no official reason why the ambulance crashed, but most believed it was due to reckless driving, fortunately for Michael he never got to know the driver.

The next two months Michael stayed in intensive care at the same hospital he worked for. Again luck was on his side, after finally being discharged there were no permanent injuries most had healed by that point. It was only then that Michael noticed a change, he could see death, maybe not the actual entity but the life that remained in something. At first it was horrible, just dreadful to know when someone was going to die, but after sometime living with his newfound power Michael started to take advantage of it. This insight drastically improved his ability to save lives, medical technology still only has come so far, but now being able to accurately judge someone’s condition he can take the proper steps to ensure they survive. Currently Michael continues his work, now completely adjusted to the change in his life, the power to see death completely natural. Still he has no knowledge of demons and angels, but that ignorance would not last much longer…[/hider]

Like say, anyone she touches dies even if she doesn't want them to? The reason for this is that Archangels in this particular roleplay are going to be... I don't want to say bad guys but... major driving forces in storyline. :)
