Victoria Hellsmith - The Ultimate Vampire
Turns out, Hell tastes like pennies.
Race:
AKA "Bloodfiend"
A being from another dimension that essentially consists of a pool of sentient, shape-changing blood. While sharing a few traits with the traditional, human examples of her kind's namesake, she and her species are powerful enough to have been feared in ancient times as malevolent gods. At around the same time the first of their kind was whisked away to another dimension, they achieved what could be called a "Perfect" world, where only their kind and their slave species existed.
Upon being studied by the most brilliant human minds available, it was revealed that Bloodfiends possess bodies that are extremely dangerous to life on Earth. When one of their kind's blood cells enter the body of an animal possessing blood of their own, the Bloodfiend's blood rapidly assimilates all of the blood cells in that animal's body. Then, either by consuming the animal from the inside to turn it into an empty, mindless husk, or by directly influencing the victim's movements, the Bloodfiend turns its prey into what could be called a "Zombie", incapable of acting on its own without the Bloodfiend's direct control.
Additionally, the Bloodfiend's body is extremely malleable, able to take virtually any form it desires in order to attain what it wishes. Most commonly in the only known subject's case, this is to perfectly imitate human physiology, allowing it to communicate with and blend in with those around it. When engaged in combat, the Bloodfiend manipulates its body in ways allowing it to either consume or eliminate its opponent, depending on their mood. There are few perceived limitations to the Bloodfiend's shape-shifting abilities, the most notable of which is that they are unable to simply create additional blood from nowhere (although their physical body contains far more than what would be found in ordinary living beings.)
According to the subject, they all possess extraordinary regenerative abilities that allow them to be torn completely into pieces, and still reform without any sign of injury. They have proven resilient against almost all forms of attack, ranging from directed energy weapons and ballistic firearms, to magical firestorms and psychic assaults. However, they are vulnerable to the cold, meaning they may be incapacitated almost instantly by a strong enough burst of cold air, or some sort of instantaneous freezing effect. Additionally, it may be possible that their unique biological abilities may not be as effective against other beings from foreign dimensions, as they have expressed that they are exceptionally compatible with animals from this realm.
With their body's ability to adapt quickly to new scenarios, they are among the most versatile direct combatants ever seen. They can create weapons from their bodies, block attacks by hardening themselves, crystallize their blood into a razor-sharp substance, liquefy to avoid attacks, even dissipate their bodies as a fine mist in order to provide visual obstruction.
While their bodies are extremely strong relative to humans, they are in fact one of the less heavy-hitting monsters encountered since the Phasing, perhaps attributable to the subject's significantly reduced feeding habits. If exposed to large amounts of blood, it is possible that they might see an immeasurable increase in power, although this is yet to be confirmed.
Notably, the subject gets extremely lethargic when exposed to cold environments, and shows a very unusual interest in close contact with human beings (outside of feeding.)
Age: 1100 Human years
Gender: Female
(Although this was a personal choice, rather than something she was born with.)Abilities: (Feel free to check the Race section for a more detailed blurb)Vampire's Body ~ The Blood of Immortals
As a Vampire from another dimension, Victoria has her advantages over ordinary girls. Most notably, she's able to regenerate her form regardless of what superficial injuries it may sustain, and she is able to completely alter the shape of her body on a whim, so long as she has a reasonable idea of what she wishes to become.
She is able to freely control all of the blood in her body, which is to say her entire body, and use it in a wide variety of ways to defeat opponents. Needless to say, she possesses superhuman strength, speed and durability, the likes of which were never seen on Earth until the Phasing.
Vampire's Feast ~ Empowering Munchies
By consuming the bodies and fluids of living creatures, Victoria is able to greatly improve her capabilities as a vampire and permanently increase the size of her blood pool. Additionally, by injecting her own blood into her victims, she becomes able to freely manipulate their bodies as a slave, whether they remain alive or not. This effect doesn't seem to work on beings not from Earth, though...
Victoria hasn't always had this name. In fact, she didn't have a name at all until she was whisked away from the dimension she called home, transported to some new world that thrived and hummed with life. There, she encountered the strangest of creatures, bipedal animals called Humans. They tasted good, but Victoria couldn't help but wonder about their strangeness, and how they seemed to different from eachother. Back home, all of her kind were alike at a glance, only identifiable by minute differences in personality and structure. Here, there seemed to be a different sort of Human wherever you would look, and certainly no two of the same in any close proximity.
With its curiosity piqued, the being that would become Victoria began to watch the Humans carefully, attempting to learn how they communicated. In time, she caught on to the nuances of the human speech, especially the type called "English". From the humans she had consumed upon her arrival to this strange place, she instinctively retrieved the specifics of the Human anatomy, replicating it finely in order to blend in with their people. Taking inspiration from how they all seemed different from one another, she mixed various traits she had observed from different humans in order to create her own, personal appearance.
Then, she made contact.
It's been a while since then, and Victoria is now no less curious about human nature than she was before. Through several odd chains of events, she signed up for some sort of organization where beings from other dimensions could interact with humans freely, without caring about causing chaos. It was a helpful change. There, the various scientists and administrators learned much about the Vampires, as they began calling Victoria's species. In turn, Victoria learned much about humans, and continues to learn more at an astounding rate. In return for this opportunity, she assists in matters of beings from other dimensions, along with others in the same organization. However, she is quite difficult to control, and isn't exactly the most helpful member outside of the occasional operation.
