Phantom peered up from his small meal and rolled his eyes as two nearby dragon expressed sign aggression. He was eased by the touch of his rider, adjusting his position and sitting upright. “I think I recognize that dragon. Or, that is, it’s underbelly. I’ve seen you guys flying around before.” He flashed a smile at the Nighthade’s rider. “Not bad,” he admitted. “Phantom here,” he started, gesturing to his dragon with a pat, “Is a pretty impressive flyer, though, we mostly go on leisurely flights.” The moment Bael brought attention to Phantom, the dragon made himself unseen, uncomfortable with having too many eyes take notice of him. Bael let out a small chuckle. “He’s, uh, he’s not a people person…” He looked at the Nightshade and then to his rider again. “Do we owe that earlier disturbance to you?”
