With a light nudge, Phantom hesitantly revealed himself again with a low groan. "Baelfire Jorges. Fisherman's son. And same thing goes for me. Just call me Bael. Right, bud?" He smiled up at Phantom who only rolled his eyes and lowered his body, lying down beside Bael. He crossed his forelegs and rested his head atop them. Bael leaned his body against Phantom's and nodded. "I thought that's what you meant. He's an observant guy, aren'tcha?" he said, patting Phantom playfully. "He doesn't want to bump into anyone just as much as they don't want to bump into him. Besides," he paused, scratching Phantom under the chin and stroking his palm across the back of his neck, "He's my best friend, not some pet." At this, Phantom emitted a high, gleeful noise and licked Bael from his chin upwards. Bael let out a soft laughter, wiping the dragon saliva from his face with the shoulder of his shirt.
