Acacia stands at average height for someone of her age, and of course, normally wears her house robes. She has long reddish-brown hair with bluish-grey eyes. She has a thing for snow and will usually break her calm exterior whenever snow is involved.

Strengths: Intelligent and outgoing. She is strong willed, and doesn't like taking orders. Acacia has naturally been show to excel in the area of Charms and Potions. However, she wishes to learn Defense against the Dark arts, and she has a purely educational interest in the Dark Arts, if such a thing is possible.
Weaknesses: Mistrustful of others, which can be a good thing depending on the situation. However, Because of this she has a hard time considering anyone a 'friend' and often believes others have some ulterior motives. She has a bit of an inferiority complex, and tries to make up for it by putting on a tough exterior. Sometimes though, she can become a bit depressed. And when she gets depressed she gets...vindictive. Especially if she fails at something and someone else succeeds. As such, it is her personal mission to not fail at anything.

And not in the endearing mischievous way. Being the baby of the family with two older brothers, she always felt a bit...snuffed. Like she would never be as great as either of them despite being the center of her brothers and parents attention. This could have been a good thing, had it led to her being just an ambitious overachiever. But hearing about her brothers accomplishments at school gave her an intense fear that she would never be as good as them, which gave her a bit of an inferiority complex. She channeled that into learning how to mess with people and get away with it by just being a cute face and playing the victim.

She has known about the wizarding world ever since she was born and has always been fascinated with magic, and anything doing with it. Her mother was a potion master who sold all sorts of odd potions in Diagon Alley, and her father worked at the ministry. She had a rather comfortable childhood, and used to always have her nose stuck in a book or some other magical text.
Being the baby of the family, she was given a bit special treatment, as much as her parents tried not to. Though, to her, it was her brothers who got special treatment. She heard all about Hogwarts, and their accomplishments and grades and such. While most may have been eager to hear such stories of their siblings accomplishments, Acacia was not. From the way she tells it, her parents fawned over them and ignored her. While its debatable if that had been true, it didn't matter to her. She began to feel as though she would never be as good as them. As such, she started to withdraw from both of her brothers and parents, finding solace in books about magic.
However, about a year before she was enrolled in hogwarts towards the end of the previous semester, her brother Jackson came home with some project or something he wanted to try, so he had their fathers help with it since he himself couldn't do magic out of school. Well, being slightly jealous Acacia sabotaged the project. She hadn't meant to frame the act on Alexander, but things just fell that way. She played the victim, as one of her belongings had been used to sabotage it she claimed she had lost it a few days prior. The blame fell on Alexander, and the rest is history, as they say. She thought if she could get attention by doing that, then, why not? In fact, it was kind of fun to get him in trouble if it helped make her look better. Not only that, Jackson seemed to prefer to play with her over Alexander now too.
She enrolled to Hogwarts a year later. Becoming seemingly more friendly, but....

He's not quite as friendly as his two younger siblings, especially those of the Slytherin house. He has a history of picking fights with them. He has an extreme dislike for bullies, and hates anyone who would pick on someone weaker than them.
Will frequently receive letters from her mother and father.

Pet: A black cat named Martin
Strengths: He is decent at making potions since he watched his mother making them when he was young. He always enjoyed helping her and learned a bit about it. His mother never taught him anything dangerous of course , just the basics of what he would need in school.
His two older brothers loved Quidditch and needed someone to practice with so they used their little brother as a Keeper. So Jake is decent with a broom and being a keeper. He hopes to be the Keeper for his house when he is older. His brothers were on the team before him.
Jake loves most animals due to his upbringing. So he is comfortable with things that would scare most children. He is fearless in general but especially with animals.
He tried to make friends with everyone and has a joke ready for everything.
Weaknesses:
Said fearlessness gets him into a lot trouble. It tends to make him impulsive by nature.
He sometimes just speaks without thinking at all.
He sometimes gets quiet and sullen for seemingly nothing.

His parents taught him since he was young to work hard with everything. From the time he was five he had chores on the farm, like chasing out pests from the pumpkin patch or something similar. Jake had grown up listening to his brothers' stories about Hogwarts and he dreamed of going there himself. When his brothers were gone at the school his mother taught him different simple potions to make. Jake always liked that. His brothers had decided to use him as their Keeper as soon as Jake learned to ride a broom , practicing on a makeshift pitch in the back of the farm. Then his 11th birthday came and with it his owl saying he was accepted to Hogwarts. Jake had never been happier. His dream was coming true.

Just wanting to check in with everyone- We have about 12 people! Woo!
I'm working/completing on the intro post whilst my companions are busy doing things.
I would also like to say that I'm making a seating chart on the train for everyone.
Before you go NOOOO, THIS IS LIKE HIGH SCHOOL ALL OVER AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN.
It's not that kind of seating chart- but one that I will be making as people make their posts so that
1) You can know where you are
2) Others can know where you are
Here is what it looks like so far-
I'll be filling it in as the first posts come in and people claim their spots.

None of our characters have been sorted so I think we should make it a point to try and mingle as much as possible before that happens. That way we have a better backdrop for socialising after we have our houses set and walls are built up by our houses rivalries.

(: Yes. As far your characters know you are all just wandering puppies looking for friends or foes.
Once the sorting hat makes his announcements; you can of course have friends from different houses- but as you know; some friendly rivalries and certain Hogwarts 'personalities' of houses may come through. Anyway- I'm super excited to start this with everyone :D
