Whoops, accidentally posted in IC instead of OOC. That's embarrassing. I'll take that opportunity to write out a post for IC and fill it then. :P

I remember one time I almost got booted for posting in an IC accidentally instead of OOC. The site was having troubles, and so the page was being a weird poop face. The GM was offline at the Tim, but the co-GM and a person I didn't really get along with told me to GTFO and told me how I had now ruined the RP (cuz it wasn't my turn to post and apparently I would 'mess up the flow' if I changed it to anything other than an IC post.) So I left, and then a day or so later the GM pm's me, saying that the whole issue has been resolved and asking me to come back. Turns out she was pretty pissed to find out the co-GM was booting people without consulting her (he had lied and said that she wanted them out) and so told him to either apologize to us (two others were booted as well for misdemeanors, like double posts or having a friendly debate) or leave. He chose to leave, and the one person I didn't get along with complained and stuff. She made the RP fairly unpleasant, and I chose to leave soon afterwards, because it was just so unhealthy. This was before old guild crashed, and it was years ago, I don't even remember any of their usernames XD

I'm surprised you even considered going back to the RP. I can maybe understand if the GM was nice, but after an incident like that, I personally would just be ready to move on.

Yeah, I know, but I was a young and impressionable 15 year old, and I didn't want to be so rude. She was very nice, just had very poor control over her RP and was maybe too lenient. Personally, I would have reported the two dudes for alienating others and taking control of another person's RP. But I left it up to her, and she allowed them to apologize or leave.

Anywho, happy armistice day! I'm pretty sure like most countries acknowledge it, unless they're like, really weird, like Timor-Leste or Cape Verde. (No offense to any Timors or cape verdian's out there, I'm sure you're all wonderful!)

The only time I get serious is when an argument is about to break out or someone abuses their power *basically whenever it seems something could happen that could dampen the fun* then I use my outdoor voice. Mostly because, as Viridian said, it's an RP. There's never a reason to argue.

In one RP I was running, I mentioned that I didn't want anyone bastardizing certain myths, mostly because it had no combat and a buncha people were picking big battle creatures or literally just making stuff up. A guy got into a snarky argument with me about vampires and how I bastardized myths. It amused me, mostly cause I just said "Either follow the rules or find one that suits your tastes better."

I strive to be civil in those situations, even when the other person won't be. Not only is it easier on yourself and helps avoid stress, but it gets the other person even angrier when they see you don't care at all about their tantrums. *might be sadistic*

Oh, it's Veteran's Day for me. Not that it matters, my work doesn't recognize it at as a holiday it seems.

I unfortunately have had such encounters before.

There was one time not too long ago when we were in an rp where someone really did not get along with us, but we tried to ignore them. We were chatting in the oc and started a clearly friendly debate about about our characters, and out of nowhere this person says: ' I don't know why your being a troll, (username) but please don't pull this bs.' Keep in mind that they weren't even the co-gm, and he accused us and many others of other things, telling people to shut up or gtfo. We kinda left, but the gm brought us back. The rp flopped anyway.

Anyway, sillyness is welcome here. Bow down to the Silly god!

It was sad too, Angel, it had such potential.

The only thing easier to kill than a forum RP is a hamster. And those things die from pooping. I'm not kidding.

Well, I dunno about Angel, but I'm actually a hyper intelligent rat working on a normal sized computer. It's very stressful, but I love you all so much that I do it anyway, despite the strain on my tiny legs.

I was going to wait till Viridian posted, but I'll have a post up either after work or during depending on how this clusterf*ck of jobs they left for me goes.

Due to my job and hobbies, I am rarely away from a computer for very long, so I have to make sure that I don't over post because not everyone can be on as frequently as I am.

EDIT: Due to my inexperience typing and researching such an accent, just give Victor a thick German accent that gets worse the more flustered he becomes. If any of you speak German, forgive any errors on my end, I'm just using online translators for this.

I see! I'm usually also on my computer a lot but recently I've been running errands and attending things so I've been quite busy. Luckily for me though the RP has been moving slowly enough for it not to have much of an impact!
