You basically get to be good with long and close range. I know what the two are. 

Here's what I'm saying: Not being able to use every single element is a weakness [i]everyone[/i] has. You have two arguable elements, technically a third but not really. That isn't a weakness, in fact it's more of a strength. Most people can only use one element, [b]especially[/b] right out of the academy. 

I'm not assuming anything, when is your character going to be without his weapon if he's great with Kenjutsu? Especially when it's 'better than the average Genin.'
