Btw, isn't Evvie like totally in the blast radius? It's a 12 foot radius, so i'll assume she is until further notice.

Edit: How much water do you imagine we're talking about here? Do you think we could reasonably vaporize it to eliminate the hazard?

I like how the Arena works sometimes.

One day, the threads are more active than a beehive. Other days it moves as slow as the honey in said beehive.

Well to a 7'3 guy your 5'3 height makes you a dwarf.

This is true. Also I totally asked a question that me rewriting my post or not hinges on.

I doubt it could really affect you if you are ready for it, but since you admittedly are drunk the effect could be humorous. It can be considered a minor show of power since it hits with about 5 tons of force.

Heh. Molten snow.

By the time Gregor gets back to the plateau, most of the water would have run off and the thin layer of damp left over would probably be starting to freeze again. He should probably be more worried about maintaining his footing than another surprise electrocution attack (unless the plateau gets soaked a second time). That attack (as with all surprise attacks) was pretty much a one-time deal.

I'm surprised there was even water left, 5600 degrees is around five times rocks average melting point, and at least five times the temperature of magma.

Edit: on that realisation, I'm surprised that there is even a plateau left. This is half the heat of the Earths core and half the heat of the surface of the sun.

It was also extremely brief. The snow where it struck would be completely vaporized, yes, but the stuff on the slope above and farther out on the plateau would have melted and poured down onto it. With exposure that brief, the rock itself wouldn't have had the time to get heated up to the full 5600 degrees of the fireball (or even close to that temperature). Like when you stick your hand on something really hot and jerk it away immediately. You get angry red marks but your skin doesn't melt off like it would if you held it there. I'd imagine the rock closest to the explosion would be all nice and glossy now, but I doubt it would actually have melted the entire plateau.

Possibly, I'm not a geologist or physicist, I don't know what a second of half the Earths core temperature would do, but it is an interesting thought none the less.

Well, neither am I to be perfectly honest. Lol. I just know that even extremely hot temperatures need time to heat things up, and I figure if a human can survive a lightning strike then a rock can survive a fireball.

You guys have some unique things in your fight. I am surprised you don't have the rock explode. You have the elements to do so. Water superheated in porous or even non porous but cracked rock would do some interesting things for your fight.
