@LokiLeo789 Nice sheet, though, I have to ask. What do you mean when you say your character can summon flames from fingertips? That fits neither the categories of Finnish or Icelandic mages. If you are meaning the cleansing, then I am sorry, but the work of a cleanser relies very much less on magic, and more on flamethrowers and dynamite. And the military encourages anyone to join, after all, blowing things up requires little muscle, scouts are supposed to be of small build, and if one fails in both large build or speed and stealth, then there is always paperwork and repairs that needs to be done. If you could please elaborate on some of the things that were unclear, or change them? 

And this may be unrelated, but Iceland really had little need for Cleansers. That work is mostly done in Sweden, Norway, and Finland, as both the Danes and Icelanders reside on islands. However, it is not too impossible for there to be ads for the military Cleansers to be in Iceland, though training and applications of those skills are always done on the continent.

... And I hate to rip on you for this one, but Iceland is fairly wealthy. It accounts for more than half of all the wealth in the world, and is very well urbanized. Denmark and Norway are where most farming goes on, while most logging and mining is done in Sweden and Finland. And in addition, in the public schooling system, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish are all taught. Languages like Danish or Finnish would require a private tutor or more advance secondary schooling, or a background in the more bookish fields in the military. That's all! Really! Not wicked big things, but still, considering that your character is immune, whereas only 7% of the population of Iceland is, there is no doubt he would be accepted into the military. After all, they need all the hands they can get.
