So, good news (kinda). I wasn't able to hang out over my friend's, so I'll get a post up now. But Feigling, I have a question. Why would Torin give a damn about Adjutor Insula? It's on the complete opposite side of the continent.
It's all about appearances, my dear Grave. We are seen promoting peace and humanitarianism and people think 'they must be a very peaceful, kind nation. I'd like to visit there.' If we try to curb violent activity elsewhere, we look like a kind of small-scale UN. Also, war means people care more about weapons and armour, and distance means that both sides will buy in bulk from closer nations. The army doesn't have the patience to wait for us. Less war = less compitition = more customers = more money. People don't want luxury during a war, they want fast-built, quick as you can garbage. Our construction may be better, but it is also slower. Torin only supports wars that support it. Anything else is a threat. If you have a war, many will die, and the dead make poor customers.
Posts seem so much longer when you're typing them out then they actually are when you post them. -.-
The 'character count' doesn't help. 7000 characters seems a lot, but when it makes about 500 words, it seems a lot less.
