Malcolm was flying towards Gotham city and he wondered why the coordinates he had received led him here. the only thing he could guess is that the city needed some extra help in dealing with its criminal population. His gravity field allowed him to fly to the city with incredible speed and he looked over the dark city with his eyes on the lookout for any criminal activity. his eyes eventually spotted the a car speeding down one of the roads with the police on the trail of it. He flew down and a fired a beam of gravity at the car and the car had its gravity rise to incredibly high numbers which caused the car to crush its wheels as it dug into the street. 

The car came to a screeching halt and the criminals in the car got out of it and began firing their weapons at the police vehicles. Malcolm had to quickly do something before this shootout turned into a gruesome tragedy. He created fields of gravity around the criminals' guns and increased the weight of the firearms. the gravity became so intense that it was impossible for the criminals to hold and they dropped their weapons. 

Malcolm smiled at the sight of the criminals looking dumbfounded at what had just happened, and then the criminals tried to flee the police, but Malcolm wouldn't allow that. He created a gravity field around the scumbags and increased their weight to the point where they wouldn't be able to run at all and fall to the ground, held in place by the gravity. he dropped the gravity field just as the police descended upon the criminals and handcuffed them.
