Reason for Going: Shay had been interested in joining when he heard about the excellent education provided at Eden. He'd been working intensely for entry since the fifth grade, and was extremely excited when he had been accepted when he was just a freshman. He's passionate about becoming a teacher himself one day, and thus tries to get in good with the teachers so that he could get some experience.
Appearance: Shay is pretty consistently average, with brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin, stands at five foot seven, and has a body shape that isn't too thin nor too fat. He has a face that doesn't really become cute until you look at it enough times. He often wears a bottom up shirt and some slacks, and a thin jacket if it gets really cold out. The only noticeable feature about him is his hairstyle, since he wears it as a faux hawk.
Personality: Shay is passionate, independent, and very, very shy. He knows he has a lot of potential, and has the desire to do so, but he's limited by his rather intense social anxiety. Even though he tends to shy away from people, if they give him crap he will not take it, and he'll fight to fight to stop it. He always tries his best in whatever he does, and always does what he can for others.
Other: He brought his notebook with him, but that's it other then the necessities. He also might have brought a music box, but he won't take it out unless the felt safe with his roommates.
