Ascot stared up in awe at Total Eclipse, glad that Joshua was actually allowing him to examine it. It was so beautiful, it was a veritable work of art! The boy could write an entire paper about the style of the weapon, the elegance of its design, the various cultural influences that were reflected in the Keyblade, but he won't; he could, but he won't, as it wasn't the time for that. "Thank you, Joshua, I'm touched," spoke Ascot, touched. "You really have changed." Joshua was now someone worthy of looking up to; true, he was before, but now that he had regained Amaya and gotten through some personal growth, the other boy was one whom Ascot was more than ready to accept as his brother. And, all that in just little over a week. "Now let's go," spoke Ascot happily as he held Total Eclipse, jumping and gliding to the train (the reason was practice). Once in Twilight Town, he accompanied Elyse and Rose; if the latter took the former to a shop, then Ascot would go to, and buy a few things for himself. Then, he remembered: he had munny. And with munny, he had some power to achieve his goals. "'Chocobo," he said, summoning the bird, "I need you to..." he then took out some pieces of paper and a pen, and wrote several messages. Then, he placed some munny in several bags and tied them to the summon's legs, while depositing the messages at his beak. "...I need you to buy some real estate for me. One of the properties will be the new home for the Nobody - I'll look for suitable guardians when the time comes - while the others will generate more money for when the crisis is over." Timeskip to the Alley "There are other ways to lose one's heart other than being consumed by one's inner darkness," spoke Ascot. "Perhaps her Somebody was attacked by Heartless, and, despite being a child, had a strong enough will to leave a Sapient Nobody? Either way, I can see why even your Nobody would pity her." Joshua's Nobody can feel some pity, as well as anger. That's a sign that his heart is regrowing, but the anger means that it's growing back in a haphazard way. I need to find a way to reach him before the regrowth becomes too crooked, but I'm afraid...I'm afraid that I'm going to have to fight him, and that I will lose. Although Ascot had grown stronger since his fight with Joshua, he knew that the Warrior of Dawn, and his Nobody, had a fighter's spirit he can't match. But enough about Xajsuoh (not that he knew his name) and the fight that he cannot win. Now is the time to try and get the girl to move, which was going to be hard, because not only had she not grown back her heart yet, but because her memories of emotion were less than other people's, meaning that she had less of a reference point. That said, though, her friendship with the Creeper Nobodies might mean that she might have at least started out on the road to regrowing her own heart. That was a point of optimism, but even without that, Ascot would have tried to help anyway. "Hello there, little girl. I know, you must be scared, finding yourself in this cold, dark, alley," spoke the boy. "But don't worry, we're here to help you." He then took out a glass, then filled it with milk, before setting it as close to the girl as he can get. "Little girl," Ascot said, "what's your name? Do you have one?" The boy felt sad for the little Nobody; what could have happened to result in her creation? Not just that, but she was obviously traumatized, either by her creation, or, possibly, events beforehand. From her costume, she looked as though she came from a 'modern' world, which, though it had a higher quality of life than 'pre-modern' worlds, still had its share of dangers and evils. "Amaya, please help," spoke Ascot, who, due to the unresponsiveness of the girl, found himself a little desperate and panicking. "I've never dealt with traumatized people before - okay, that's a lie if I count you and Joshua as traumatized, but I'm not the judge of that. I don't know what to do, okay, I have one more strategy, but I don't know if it'll work." And then, Ascot sang Smile, Smile, Smile at the little girl, hoping for some reaction.
