Malcolm was finishing helping the police take the criminals away when he felt a blast and he was concerned with what was the cause of it and he was worried that innocent people might be hurt. he took off into the air and had his gravity powers fly him towards the source of the sound as quick as possible. While he flew he saw someone flying in the same direction and Malcolm wondered who it could've been. he soon was able to see the colors and S shield of Superman on the girl's costume and realized that she had to be Supergirl.

He flew after her as quick he could and wondered if she had heard the blast as well. Malcolm was also curious to find out why the cousin of Superman was in Gotham and not metropolis. When he saw her land at some old looking mansion, he landed not too far away and walked towards her.

"Supergirl, what are you doing here? Did you pick up on that loud blast as well?" he asked the super heroine as he kept his gravity field up in case he needed to defend himself, this place gave him the creeps and he wasn't too big of a fan of Gotham with all of its violent criminals and its dark streets.
