Name: Martin the Warrior

Universe: Redwall

Personality: Martin the Warrior, son of Luke the Warrior, is a dedicated and selfless mouse to say the least. He will always put the needs of those he cares about above his own, though on occasion that can result in him getting into more than enough trouble. Though strong and independent, he knows when to ask his friends for help (even if it's not easy for him). Despite his eagerness to rush into danger in order to help someone, he is also known for his light-heartedness and compassion. 

Powers/skills: While he possesses no magical powers, Martin does carry a wide variety of attributes that make him an excellent fighter, friend, and even worse enemy. Since he could walk, Martin's father taught him the art of fighting, as living on a coastal village under constant attack from bands of roving pirates was far from a safe living condition. Whether it be a staff, bow, his bare paws, or his father's sword which was crafted from a fallen meteor, Martin is skilled in fighting. He is also quite ingenious at times, able to fashion improvised weapons, repairs, or other items as necessary from just the materials around him. 

Bio: After his father left on a daring mission to rid the coastal villages of pirates who had been a constant threat, Martin was captured by a band of slave-traders and ended up in Marshank, a fort ruled by a tyrant stoat by the name of Badrang. During an escape attempt, he met Rose of Noonvale who was searching for her younger brother, also a captured slave inside the fort. Banding together with a squirrel by the name of Feldoh and other creatures tired of Badrang's cruelty, they destroyed the evil stoat and freed the prisoners. However, Martin paid a grievous price. Rose and him had quickly fallen in love after meeting, but she was killed by Badrang before Martin could stop him. Martin spent months wandering the wilderness before eventually aiding a band of woodland creatures in their struggle against another dictator, and in the end creating the peaceful abbey of Redwall where he lived.
