Alright, fair enough. To me that seems a bit contradictory with the explanations given in Fate Complete Material for what Magic Foundations and Formula are, but maybe that's just my limited interpretation of it. It seems to me that if you're to engrave a Magical Foundation in a land's academia and religion, it presumes and requires knowledge of it.

I had thought that magic became weaker with more magi that because in a literal sense the magic was spread thinner, like a pie being cut into smaller and smaller pieces; rather than there being an inherent loss of value just for witnessing it.

Good to know this is how it is. I'll get back on making my master character.
