“Hey hey!” The familiar voice directly following her own made Sanguin look. Chloe's distinctive shock of turquoise hair and bright smile identified her easily, and the Blood Moon Child instinctively returned one, though of course the expression was lost beneath her mask. While not the greatest of companions, Sanguin and Chloe were friends; given their shared aggressive, hardheaded, and outgoing nature, it wasn't hard to see why. Aside from similar traits, Sanguin also enjoyed the fact that she was stronger than Chloe, which formed only part a sort of friendly rivalry. In response to the earth mage's question, she bluntly stated, “It was me.” Compared to Chloe, the next woman to speak didn't receive nearly the warmth from Sanguin, who rolled her eyes invisibly when she realized Mary had followed her over. Worse, she was being condescending. Always so assertive of her power, Sanguin inwardly seethed, tuning out Boyce's voice. However excited she was, Sanguin was obliged to move backward along with everyone else in the vicinity when Pollux decreed that he had an announcement. When the orb of light floated into the air, reverberating with the grandmaster's voice, Sanguin could not help but look at it and not the man who conjured; it was simply too interesting. What followed, though, interested her more. The initiation of new members in Fairy Tail always provided Sanguin enjoyment, so she made sure to mentally make note of it. This event didn't surprise her, since Pollux had practically adopted the winged girl Yukiko while the fanged man Haust had been working with the guild for a little while now. For a moment following Pollux's declaration of his impending retirement, Sanguin was silent. Then she joined the uproar with gusto, sometimes actually making noise and not saying much of anything. The emotion given off by the dozens of wizards deeply galvanized the spirit, and it was impossible for Sanguin to not to join in. Despite this, she fell silent with the others when Pollux's voice cut through the discord. In the wake of his closing statements, Sanguin briefly considered the candidates for succeeding the grandmaster. Naturally, Mary was too domineering, but Isabella -Sanguin never bothered with her nickname, but wisely never said her real name in her presence- was downright unpleasant. Having her in a leadership position made Sanguin shudder. After a few moments, she closed the distance between Pollux and herself. “So...are Ben and I going?”
