Background: Gwen grew up in a foster home, as her father gave her up when she was just a babe, supposedly, and no one knew who her mother was. She was lucky though, as the foster home she grew up in was a good home, and she didn't bounce around at all. The couple she was staying with had too much time and too much money on their hands, but she wasn't complaining. She attended a decent school and grew up a good kid. She was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia when she was nine and two years later she was discovered with a child of Nemesis and a child of Hecate who also went to her school. She was lucky to be discovered because she and the child of Nemesis were pretty much blocking each other out, but they were found none the less and were brought to camp half-blood. 

Gwen wasn't much of a fighter, but she certainly managed to cash out with the fights. She, surprisingly, runs the bets for any and all camp related challenges and while she may or may not influence the outcome, she certainly manages to make a nice profit in the end. She mostly helps make sure things run smoothly at camp, since a little good luck never hurt anyone.
