Oh, yeah. This is the 5th day of the trial. We're hoping to be done tomorrow.

I'm 25 and I got called once but.. erm.. sort of forgot about it. Then got called again, went, and got selected. :/

Yeah... my brother's been called twice. Never chosen, though.

anyway, I had an eye appointment today. Part of one, anyway. They're doing a full exam, for $55 bucks. *exhale* If you don't wear glasses, let me just tell you that 55 bucks is an absolute godsend. I almost cried in relief on the phone. So yeah, all kinds of 'look at this, read the top line' etc. My head hurts from the strain, but I do have half the post in mind.

I do wear glasses, actually. Nearsighted as hell, especially in my right eye. And yeah, that's damn cheap for a full exam. I hope things come out well. Don't fret about the post, again, your health comes first.

I'm okay. Sort of stressed still. Tomorrow we should finish deliberations. The good news is, on the Big Important Point, we're 11/12ths in agreement from the get-go. The rest will be convincing the one holdout, and then doing all the nitpicking - it's a civil case so punitive and exemplary fines are involved.

It did, actually. We finished the very next day. And I got my check today! It was a pathetic amount but, well, it's over with.

Answer: Absolutely. Please never hesitate to make a shorter post if that's what is needed or fits best - a mile of flowery prose a month late is NOT preferred to 2 pointed and neat paragraphs that keep the action going.

Answer: I'll leave it mostly up to you, but it'd probably include a huge 'REWARD' for 'slaying the evil Shifting Beast' or something to that effect, with a drawing of the monster possibly. Basically just being loud and obvious because, well, they have a big, big issue and need it resolved.

Actually if you want to make it a bit over-the-top that'd be fine by me: the whole scenario is slightly ludicrous to be honest. Like you have this huge shapeshifting monster that comes into your city on a daily basis and wanders around scaring people, occasionally stealing food, impersonating other citizens, and generally being a huge issue but not an extreme threat like say, a dragon that comes in and is setting fire to everything. And they can't just say 'Well it's kind of being a hassle' so they'd need to exaggerate so that SOMEONE *coughcoughwanderingknightcoughcough* will come deal with the damn thing.
