The halls were decently occupied, people moving to explore whilst conversing, and Tai weaved through them like a leave on the breeze, his presence unnoticed or uncommented on. He didn't mind that too much, since he hardly could have expected less from the people here. They were too busy getting to know their teammates and each other to strike up a random conversation without someone walking by, at least if they were rational Still, sometimes he had his doubts about himself. He was calm, at peace, but was that really what he wanted to be. At times, it seemed like he would walk through life without leaving an impact, some mark to indicate he was here. Would people miss him when his time eventually came, or would he just be remembered as the quiet one who did yoga on the front lawn in the morning? The thought was unexpected disturbing to the boy. But laying that question aside, he entered the cafeteria. It wasn't filled to capacity by any stretch of the term, but there were a few people in it. Moving past them, Tai went up to get his food. It was simple affair, an apple, a small cup of water, but he wasn't very hungry at this point. If he needed more, he could get some later, and he wasn't disposed to waste food by taking in excess. Meal in hand, he went to one of the empty tables and sat down there, by himself. He took small, measured bites as he looked around the room, occasionally adding a sip of water as he watched to see what happened. A passive bystander, as always.
