"Oh, there's not much to tell. I was born and raised in Yawata, my father is a priest, and life was very mundane growing up," Juliette replied. [i]If you count raising spirits, animating dolls and causing others pain to be mundane, that is...[/i] she added in her head. Some things were just not meant to be disclosed after all. Especially not when things were going so smoothly. It wasn't everyday that someone else expressed an interest in her. If it continued like this, it wouldn't be too hard for her to obtain her first 'specimen'. The thought sent shivers of delight down her spine. 

"And you, Kojima-san? What do you-" Her words trailed off as other students started shouting in the room about being attacked by...seagulls? How absurd. And were they really so weak to be afraid of a bunch of birds? Though, judging by the expressions on some of their faces, she figured that the situation was not really that simple. 

[i]Perhaps the birds are being controlled by someone or they're not real at all. Either way... I can sense magical anomalies in the air. Someone else is causing this,[/i] Usa-chan stated and she frowned at the rabbit in her lap. "But why?" Juliette wondered aloud, momentarily forgetting that she was not by herself. [i]Who knows? Maybe they're sadistic. Maybe it's a test. I don't understand you mortals, anyway,[/i] the spirit replied unhelpfully making her roll her eyes at the doll. 
 
Juliette cleared her throat. "We may be able to deal with them temporarily but I have a feeling it won't stop at that," she announced to the room, her voice calm yet loud enough to be heard by the others. "Think about it. Why would a bunch of squawking, feathered fowls attack us without provocation?" she questioned, looking around at the other students in turn. "[i]Someone[/i] is causing this. If we want to stop it, we have to find out the source."
