The Character Sheet Name : Leef (Her last name was lost) Nickname/Alias: (None) Age : 17 DOB : 15th of May Gender : Female Sexuality : Asexual (hasn't learnt about it yet) Appearance : Other Details : Guild mark oddly over right eye. Is shorter than most at 5'6. Has a necklace made of emerald resembling a green leaf. Personality : She's...odd. A little difficult to get to know as she's typically quiet and reserved, though opening her up and revealing her true colours would reveal a happy and cheerful (and perhaps a little rude) girl who enjoys life to the fullest. She's a fan of peace or peaceful things and loves nature. She's hard to anger and doesn't hold grudges. Arsenal : Magic Type : Caster Mage Rank : Mage (no real rank because she'll just be joining FairyTail) Magic : Maker Magic Spells :
Leaf Make: Whirlwind is a Maker Magic spell taught to those who have learnt to abide by the Way of the Leaf. Despite it's simplicity, Whirlwind is actually one of the most powerful Leaf Make spells in a Leaf Make Mage's arsenal. For that very reason, it is heavily practiced amongst Leaf Make wizards to gain the move's full potential. The process starts with the focusing of magic energy in the hands, as with all Molding Magic, before projecting it out and around the entire body. The magic then picks up speed and starts to create vicious contained winds around the caster, picking up debris such as leaves or branches, some of which can be several times larger than the caster. From there, the caster projects the winds in the direction they wish (forwards, mostly), using their hands once more to manipulate the winds like the barrel of a cannon. Once the magical energy is released, incredibly powerful winds are sent in the direction the caster was aiming, along with the numerous debris contained within it. If the Mage is strong enough, he or she is said to be able to use an entire forest to their advantage with this spell... Leaf Make: Razor is one of the easier and more cost-effective spells taught to a Leaf Make wizard. In many ways it relates to Gray's Ice Make: Lance or Lyon's Ice Make: Eagle. Once the magical energy is focused into the hands, the caster pulls them to the side before making an arcing motion in the direction they're aiming. A trail of green magic can be seen as numerous razor sharp leaves fly out at incredible speeds. The leaves are shaped similarly to boomerangs so even if the enemy decides to dodge the first few leaves they'll just come right back. They have enough strength to dent and break through steel (though it might take a few of 'em...) Leaf Make: Aroma is a lot different to conventional Maker Magic spells, and is unique specifically to Leaf Make Mages. The caster lets the energy from his or her hands deep out into the air around them. The magic gives a sense of peace and calamity, and can be used to stop unnecessary fights. It's one of the few Leaf Make spells that Leef knows that doesn't relate to violence. It also has a healing ability if the magical energy is focused upon a single point on one's body. It's mostly effective on others and can't be used during battle, as it requires concentration and skill. Basically what happens is the magical energy is transferred into the other person's body, then flows to the wound the caster is aiming to heal. From there, it covers the exposed wound like a bandage and treats anything that needs fixing. More prominent wounds take longer to heal and are more costly on magic power. Leaf Make: Tree Hammer is one of the few Molding Magic spells in Leef's arsenal that actually takes after conventional Molding Magic. The caster's hands focus on making a grip for a giant wooden hammer, which then begins to form in the caster's hands. The hammer stands at double the caster's size in most instances and is practically weightless to him or her, however others would find great trouble in using it (imagine a larger version of Thor's hammer though made of wood). The cost for casting the hammer is quite high, however it takes literally zero magical energy to maintain once casted, so it's often a good first choice for entering a battle. Leaf Make: Shield is almost exactly like the Ice Make equivalent. The caster focuses on the ground ahead of them, directing their magical energies towards it, so to sprout a magic seed. The seed's growth rate is accelerated drastically due to the influence of magic, as is it's size and durability, forming a durable shield in less than a second. It's weak to fire, as to be expected, and once planted the shield can't change the direction it's facing until it's either destroyed or the caster finishes using the spell. There's an even more advanced version called Leaf Make: Envelop which encases either the caster or another in a shell of leaves, however Leef hasn't learnt this technique due to how advanced it is. Leaf Make: Overgrow is the strongest Leaf Make spell Leef knows and is the second strongest in Leaf Make spells. In many ways it relates to Ice Make: Glacier/Geyser. The cast aims the energy in their hands at the ground below the enemy's feet, pushing as much magical energy into it as possible. The result is a three-staged attack. The first stage is the grass that rises from the ground below the enemy, both holding them in place and marking where the next attack will strike. The second stage is several, much larger spikes that spurt from the ground and pierce through the targets body in large chunks, hoisting them in the air in preparation for the third stage. It also drains a target of its magical energy. The third stage is much like the second, however instead the grass is much smaller though razor sharp and in higher quantities. By the third stage the target is left pretty much paralysed, simply due to the spikes that've pierced his/her body. The technique takes relatively 1.5 seconds to complete altogether. At full strength, Leef is left on the verge of passing out from exhaustion due to the intensity of draining so much power so quickly. Leaf Make: Vine Whip is another Leaf Make technique that takes after conventional Molding Magic. Oddly, this spell is casted in two separate hands. The energy from the caster spreads out in a thin yet study line to form two vines in both the caster's hands. These vines are incredibly sturdy and can grow or shorten to the casters will. They're coated with several sharp thorns (size cannot be changed like the whip). Leef has yet to learn how to master this spell. Leaf Make: Bullet Seed is the last technique in Leef's arsenal of Magic spells. It has a similar casting to Leaf Make: Razor however instead of razor blade leaves, explosives seeds are sent hurtling in the direction the caster is aiming at incredible speeds. The explosive properties mean that the caster can level a small house in a little under ten seconds. It's generally cheap to use magic wise and can be used to suppress enemies quite effectively.
Biography : As a child, Leef was exposed mostly to forests and woodlands. Her parents were former members of FairyTail who moved away to help raise Leef. They wanted the best for her, and as such they made a little wood house in the forest. It was a mystical place that blended nature and magic together, and Leef absolutely loved it. She was taught Leaf Make magic when she was very young, being twice as proficient as her parents due to her ability to mould nature and twist the winds around her to her liking. They all lived happily together for six years, until a large fire elemental struck the town nearby the forest. The forest was quickly enveloped in flames, and her parents were called to aid the town. She doesn't quite know what happened to her forest, however they never returned to her and the fire elemental never struck again... She was found by her parents' friend, Vyne, cold and malnourished. He took her under his wing as his student all the whole raising her as best he could. As a result, he was also forced to quit FairyTail in order to raise the girl, living in a smaller though very similar place as Leef had with her parents. From there, Vyne began training Leef not only Leaf Make magic but also something of a religion he founded known as the "Way of the Leaf". It taught one peace of mind and calmness, the ability to never lose your cool and to not hold grudges. It trained the body just as much as it did the mind, making Leef quite gentle when not in a fight. Although, it also taught how to defend one's self and how to fight. So for the rest of her 12 years she spent training under the guidance of her master, shaping her into the person she is today. She wishes to join FairyTail in an attempt to carry on her parents legacy (Master Vyne told her many stories about FairyTail and it's wizards...). Other : As said before, Leef is a user of Leaf Maker Magic, a Molding Magic that focuses on leaves, grass, bushes, vines, and similar type things. It's a type of magic made by Leef's own mother and father, who they then taught to their friend, Vyne. It's deprived from both Wood Make magic and air elemental magic. Unlike conventional Molding Magic, Leef Make magic focuses more-so on the creation of things of the environment, such as winds, leaves, saplings and so-on. Since there's only ever been four users in its known history, it isn't really considered a type of magic by most and many call it by what it comes from (wood or air).
