This might very well be their last chance for survival, that meant that they needed to put everything into their next attacks. Because if they failed to take him down soon, then it was all over. It was because of this that Mike felt it was wise to bust out his Spirit Blade. Sure, at this point it ate through his MP, but either way, this battle would end before he ran out. Rushing at the Blank Mage, Mike quickly put away his Spirit Bouken before he cried out "form Spirit Blade!" With his true weapon out, he next called out "Tamashī no Ha!" As he swung his blade at the Blank Mage. 'Huh now that I think about it; this is the first time I've ever used these skills together. I wonder if something special will happen' he thought moments before attacking the Mage

Lucian smiled at Taichi, really he was trying not to laugh at him, Lucian found it quiet funny all the events that just played out, the negotiation failure, taking a really strong blow and living, being chained, and then the three coming out of nowhere and smacking Taichi about before being forced out, it was hilarious. "Well, then, I guess we should get serious then?"

It was almost a game over for him from the last hit, he would need to heal up, but the problem was his healing ability required the earth, and this was a magic tower...not exactly natural. On the bright side, his elementals where still out, so he could down a potion and still give them commands hopefully. "Gnome, give him a good whack, aim for the spot he got hit by the brawler, Rai, give him a shocking experience." Lucian then stood up and stepped back a bit, not that it seemed that distance really mattered to this mage, he seemed to blink around as he saw fit, though he only used it so far to taunt them, it likely had an offensive purpose as well. Lucian then took the opportunity to cast a spell on himself. "Mana Whirlwind Shield" Based on how much the first attack on him hurt, Lucian wasn't willing to let the second one get through as much.

As Sasha and Silas discussed what to do next, a voice would suddenly appear in both of their heads. The voice was that of the small, and mysterious, girl Sayo who had been left outside of the base. "To your left is a hidden door. It should lead to a hall that connects you to the other side of the building, allowing you to go up the way Henry went. You should hurry though, as right now our other two friends are fighting a tough opponent. You need not worry about running into anymore enemies though, they have been cleared out". After that, the voice faded from their minds. She really was a mysterious sounding girl, especially with how still and soft her voice was. Coupled with the fact that she was only Level 5 and somehow in this organization of strong people also was something to consider.

Still, the two of them could either follow Sayo's advice and find the secret door on the left wall, or try and run all the way back to the outside, then run all the way up through the route that Henry's group. With their basic running speed, which stemmed from DEX and STR, as well as the Ban Family Foot Technique they could do that in a short amount of time if they didn't feel like trying to find some random secret door.
In the meantime, Lucian, Mike, and Ren were still fighting against this strong opponent, who fortunately got stunned by a failed casting of a spell and also got clobbered by Nero and Touma for some serious damage. Mike moved first, rushing forward as he activated Spirit Blade to create the highly consumptive blade of spirit energy and used the Tamashi no Ha for a hopeful extra punch. Thankfully he was still a bit stunned as Mike rushed forward, so he wasn't really able to ready himself to avoid despite the large gap of distance between him in the Gamers, nor was he able to adequately dodge at all.
Mike Attack: 83 - 24 Seishin no Ken - 18 Skill Bonus = 41

Miss
Unfortunately, despite being stunned, he was barely able to still get out of the way of the somewhat poorly executed attack. Fortunately though, the assault on him hadn't finished yet as both Gnome and Rai now acted, Gnome aiming to help Mike flank Taichi by smacking the utter crap out of him with her rather large, earthen club.
Swing 1: 67 (Miss)

Swing 2: 97 (Fumble)
Gnome wasn't doing so hot this battle either. The first swing missed, despite two people being in proximity to a stunned, or more like staggered, opponent. The second swing went in such a wide arc that Gnome accidentally flung her club across the room and fell down in the process. It was easy to say that even she wasn't perfect and this was not her time.

Rai, in the meantime, was throwing multiple lightning bolts at Taichi, the likes of which each drained 30 MP, a good chunk, but they were pretty powerful from previous experience.
Bolt 1: 26 (Hit!)

Damage Dealt: 10

Bolt 2: 13 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 25

Bolt 3: 2 (Critical)

Damage Dealt: 75
The first two bolts did little damage, despite the second one being dead on. Perhaps it was because of the man's high Resistance, which was 50, although since Lucian hadn't used Observe he didn't really know this. Rai was only a basic elemental after all, so it was easy to see that he wasn't all that powerful, and just draining MP at this point. The third bolt, on the other hand, hit the man dead on in the chest, a loud cry escaping from him as, probably thanks to his staggered state, the lightning bolt charged all through his body, making him fall to the ground on one knee, Lucian quickly activating the Whirlwind Shield after commanding his Elementals.

Perhaps though Lucian would need to bring a bit more power than what Rai had if he wanted to keep inflicting damage, but without Sylph getting to use an Elemental Synchronization technique with just Rai and Gnome would be difficult since, according to what the books he used to learn elemental magic taught about the elemental relationships, Earth and Lightning do not get along, and neither do Air and Earth since Earth is strong against Lightning and Air strong against Earth.

"You... fucking brats..." Taichi was gritting his teeth, as he was getting pissed now, but electricity charging through him in that single moment paralyzed him, allowing the Gamers another preemptive strike.

One that Ren took full advantage of. "Demonic Lightning" is what he chanted, finishing the spell charging as a bolt of blackish lightning shot from his fingertips and straight at the man.
Demonic Lightning: -9 (Hit, Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 63 Damage
Taichi was taking a slight beating here, but all of these attacks were just putting small dents in his HP rather than large chunks. He was incredibly tough, as were those who managed to do a total of 500 Damage to him with just two attacks. It was clear that they were all much more powerful than the Gamers.

After that, Ren quickly just pointed, and both Demons gave a nod as they set about to attacking Taichi however they thought best while Ren cast Aqua Arrows once, before chanting "Giga Spiral Bolt" and aiming his hands towards the downed Mage. "Try to cover me while I charge this thing up!" It was Ren's most powerful Skill, and their only trump card, and he wanted to take this man down before he could perform any tricks, like the one that nearly cut Lucian in two.
Arrow 1: 92 (on die) Miss

Arrow 2: -14 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 23

Arrow 3: -17 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 23
This man was not only tough, but somehow was passively blocking Ren's spells as well, as Ren could tell that something was making him have a high resistance to all of Ren's magic. It also didn't help that the first arrow was completely off mark, but hopefully a powered Giga Spiral Bolt would change all of that.

The two demons, in the meantime, got to work trying to rip Taichi a new one, Galkyr especially, its claws glowing yellow as it attempted to slash Taichi multiple times with high powered swipes.
Power Swipe 1: -26 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 80

Power Swipe 2: 19 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 80

Power Swipe 3: 58 (Miss)
The first two glowing swipes tore into him, making him cry out, Melee being probably the more effective choice here than magic apparently, Lilim starting on firing bolts of lightning at the downed Taichi as well.
Bolt 1: 100 (Fumble)
However, Lilim didn't do such a thing, as she went to fire one, the power she tried to summon somehow backfired, making it exploded in her hand and throw her back, Ren muttering a curse as this happened as, despite having him on the ropes, they were barely damaging this guy except bit by bit, and Ren needed all of the help he could get while he tried to charge the Giga Spiral Bolt. He had MP Potions, so he was going to pour every last drop of MP he had into this attack.

Before Mike became preoccupied wondering how he could possible miss, he shook off his bewilderment to continue his attack. This time, he opted to try for a double one; slicing at the Blank Mage with Tamashī no Ha two times. 'I can't keep being useless! I couldn't do anything against the giant zombie, or those other two mages. I will contribute something to this fight!' Since his Spirit Blade was eating through his mana, he had to act fast

Well, aside from Gnome throwing her club across the room, that kinda worked out as planned...Lucian was a bit embarrassed by Gnome's fumble, and the fact it would take time for her to grab the club, if she were to use it again, was a bit of an annoyance. He would simple have to work his way around it, she would have to use something else. Using my summons to attack with their spells so often will leave me with a low mana reserve, especially if I go on the offensive as well, but we should really finish this man as quickly as possible, and I do always have mana pots.

Lucians thoughts raced quickly as he planned his next move, seeing that Mike was going to go in for another attempt at striking. "Gnome, grab him with your earthern hand, Rai, go point blank if you can, we need everything to hit." Lucian looked at the man, he heard him curse after Rai landed his shots last time, Lucian found it fitting to mock him, as he did them at the beginning, though it was also a useful mock. Lucian pulled out a Medium mana potion and began to drink, all the while looking at Taichi, his eyes clearly looking down at the man.

"Damn, she wasn't kidding about the barrier," Sasha grumbled as her energy shots fizzled on the glowing wall. The damage indicators helpfully told her she was doing zero damage to it. Sasha felt disappointment in her heart; she thought she had gotten strong enough to be more than just a push over. A simple spell from one person had them stumped. Angrily she fired a couple more shots into the barrier for good measure.

"I thought your slashes might do it." Sasha snapped, losing her temper. They couldn't just turn back and leave now. Not when the rest are still heading inside. "We could take another way. This probably isn't the only corridor. Besides, I think it would be easier for us to blast through a wall than this damned barrier."

At that moment, Sayo's telepathic message reached her. She jumped at the sudden voice, and spun around in alarm. Only when she paid attention to her words did she relax. That was embarassing...

Sasha gave Silas a shrug. The "left wall" was just that- a seamless wall that appeared to be exactly the same as any other section of the corridor they were in. Sasha couldn't see how there was supposed to be a secret entrance here. Nevertheless, she began search it from floor to ceiling, carefully examining the surface for any cracks.

The stress of the situation, however, was getting to her. If she didn't find the secret wall, Sasha's patience would run thin and she would simply start blasting at the wall itself.

Sasha Observation: 15 - 29 = -14
It didn't take too long actually. As Sasha examined the wall from top to bottom, eventually she was able to find the thinnest of cracks in the wall. Furthermore, she was also able to see a tiny button on the base of the wall that would practically be invisible to those who weren't searching over the wall with a fine toothed comb. Pressing the button, a click could be heard as within the next moment, that part of the wall gave way, revealing a long corridor that most likely went to the other side of the building, this being their ticket past the barrier and to the place where Keiko and the others had gone.

With this, they could easily and quickly go through to the other side, up the stairs that Henry and company had gone up, and then begin making their way to the room where the fight was taking place, sounds of fighting as they got to the top floor able to be heard and thus able to be their guide to where the action was taking place.
In the meantime, the three other Gamers were still fighting the Blank Mage, who they seemingly had on the ropes. Mike went for two Tamashi no Ha's on the downed Taichi as they needed to act quickly indeed before the man could get back up and cast more spells, especially since he could use that same sword spell that the Spatial Mage could use, one that was also more powerful and thus capable of killing Lucian in one shot even as it seemed to ignore defenses.
Attack 1: 89 - 23 Seishin no Ken (DEX) - 25 Distance Bonus - 18 Skill Bonus = 23 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 87

Attack 2: 80 - 23 - 25 - 18 = 31 (Hit!)

Damage Dealt: 75
Melee really was the best way to go on this guy. He seemed to have less physical resistance than he did mystical resistance. In fact, the extra spiritual damage from the Tamashi no Ha was seemingly not doing anything to him. So in reality, it just wasn't high enough level of a skill yet to actually deal any damage to a person of this level, making Mike just better off smacking the man repeatedly with the high powered spirit blade then waste more MP on the Tamashi no Ha. Still, Mike was able to get in two good strikes regardless, probably due to the fact that he was on the ground nearly paralyzed.

Gnome, following Lucian's orders, attempted to grab the Blank Mage with her Earthen Hand ability while Rai moved in closer to try and get his lightning bolts to hit.
Gnome Earth Hand: 0 (not Critical) (Hit!)
The hand was successful in grabbing the mage, having quite the firm grip on him, meaning he would have to try and break free the next opportunity he had. This allowed Rai to easily move in closer to try and lightning bolt him, but with Mike and the Earth Hand both right there, plus the man being on the ground, ranged attacks would have a bit of a harder time hitting their mark.
Bolt 1: 34 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 44

Bolt 2: 36 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt; 44

Bolt 3: -26 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 44
Again, he had some pretty high resistance to that sort of magical damage, but it still did a nice bit of damage despite all of that. Normally Rai would have needed to keep his distance, but he was able to get up right close and personal and fire three bolts directly into the man. MP was starting to run out for Lucian though, probably only one more barrage of those bolts manageable before he would need to try and replenish his MP.

The Blank Mage, unfortunately, got over being stunned quite quickly and first had to deal with breaking free from the earthen hand. Lucikly he had just the trick for that, as his ring suddenly shone a bit, he suddenly teleported free from Mike's and Galkyr's reach and the earthen hand, but that still consumed a bit of time that he had, time he spent suddenly doing something completely different. A smirk appeared on his face as he snapped his fingers twice.

"Lets get rid of these pests first!" Suddenly arrows of water, much like Ren's, appeared, but they suddenly turned into arrows of wind instead, six of them appearing with a single snap of his fingers, all of them quickly condensing into one much larger arrow which flew at Gnome at a high speed. Earth was weak against Wind, so if it hit, it could be deadly.
Wind Arrow: 9 on the dice (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 480
Unfortunately, the high powered Wind Arrow was more than enough to shred apart Gnome's entire earth essence composed being, this man able to use and change spells at will in various ways as it looked like first a more powerful version of Ren's Aqua Arrows. Nonetheless, Gnome had been destroyed, leaving them down one powerhouse of an elemental. He would have gone after the humans, but taking care of the summons first was a higher priority on his list, as suddenly with his second snap he suddenly seemed to move alot faster than normal.

The next snap after that sent three arrows condensed into one at Rai, only they looked like ones more or less made of earth. The other three that appeared were condensed down and sent at the blasted back Lilim.
Earth Arrow (Rai): -19 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 200

Earth Arrow (Lilim): 2 (Critical)

Damage Dealt: 265
Rai was outright decimated by the high powered Earth Arrow, and Lilim seemed to take the blow head on as well. She already had been damaged by her own power backfiring, now she had taken on a full straight to the center blow as well, her HP looking pretty worse for wear. The man was moving faster than he had before though, but at the same time it was as if he was moving like this all at once rather than in succession, like as though space itself were distorting around him to let him move twice in a single few seconds.

Which was bad, as he sent a blackish lightning bolt, which looked and felt similar to Lilim's, only more powerful, straight at Lilim.
Lightning Bolt: -20 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 165
Unfortunately, as the bolt seemed to come the instant after the arrow did, Lilim wasn't able to stand that instant barrage of spells, crying out as she was also destroyed. This man was aiming for their Summons, which was the brunt of their combative force and also gave him the number's advantage. He seemed to have no intention of stopping Ren's Giga Spiral Bolt, which made Ren feel heavily uneasy. Well, even if he could somehow use the Giga Spiral Bolt like he did with Lilim's Demonic Lightning, he would have to charge it for ten seconds just like Ren had to, the charging of which was nearly done.

The man didn't stop there though. With one final, instant succession snap towards Galkyr, he used a different spell this time. Bones suddenly erupted from the ground with sharp looking, bone like blades all over them. Unfortunately though, Galkyr wasn't swift enough in that moment to get out of the way, now effectively being trapped inside of a large cage of bone that emanated an aura of death, several bone like blades stabbing at the trapped Galkyr.
Stab 1: -12 (Max Damage!)

Damage Dealt: 55

Stab 2: 27 (Miss)

Stab 3: -38 (Max)

Damage Dealt: 55

Stab 4: -41

Damage Dealt: 55
"This is my power, as a Blank Mage, I can pretty much take anything you dish out, and throw it back with more power, including the spells of those last two you fought". Whether or not he was bluffing or telling the truth was uncertain, but he seemed quite confident with this as he had a smirk on his face. The space around him though seemed to cease its distortions now so his movements returned to normal. The group was in some serious trouble now. With Galkyr trapped and the other Summons all gone, they would have to rely on their own basic ability to defeat this man. Still, it wasn't like they hadn't done any damage to him.

Galkyr was stuck fighting the cage he was trapped in, looking quite pissed as its eyes glazed over and he gnashed his teeth in a feral rage, his body seemingly rippling with more raw physical power now as though he was going berserk. Next, his claws suddenly became encased in flames, and then his body seemed to rippled with more physical power as in a frenzy with great speed, he seemed to strike at the cage multiple times, attempting to bring it down. Luckily the cage was a stationary object, so hitting it was no trouble. It seemed quite resilient though, but the fire that Galkyr had on his claws was seeming to help.

A total of 110 Damage was dealt with each of the high speed strikes of its mighty claws, there being three of them in total. Still, that didn't seem to cut it as the death cage was still entrapping Galkyr.

Around this time though, Ren completed the charging of his Giga Spiral Bolt. He poured every all but 100 MP into it, knowing that he had no choice but to do so, meaning he had poured 498 MP into the gigantic bolt, well 50 of that being needed to use the Skill itself, so in total he put in 448. They needed to take this Blank Mage out and soon, and Ren wanted to chuck as much raw power as he could at the man. If one little Mana Bolt could be stopped, then he thought an incredibly gigantic one spinning with tremendous force would deal some incredible damage, especially with that barrier around him broken. He only had nearly a fifth of his HP left, so Ren hoped that this would finish him off.
Giga Spiral Bolt: 38 + 25 Skill Penalty - 37 Projectile Weaponry = 26
Unfortunately, it just was too hard of a skill to aim, Ren cursing as the man deftly dodged the gigantic, fast moving bolt. Ren would be panicking right now, but as he felt that panic rise, the Gamer's Mind skill appeared in his mind and he was calmed down. It truly was a special Skill. Ren was indeed a gamer, and all he had to do was just take a Mana Potion the next chance he got, and he still had 100 MP to fall back on. Their enemy was only at just above a fifth of his health, so they could win this as long as he had no way of healing.

"Such a powerful attack... might have even did some serious injury if it had hit, too bad that it was just a bit too slow eh, ya brat". Taichi mocked right after he dodged the giant bolt. This battle was still in full swing, and right now had just taken a turn for the worse.

Hopefully Silas and Sasha would be able to get there soon, as the three Gamers were most likely going to need their help now.

Well that wasn't good. That spell of Ren's was, as far as he knew, the strongest one in their collective arsenal. Although, considering how he kept shrugging off magical and spiritual attacks, it might not have finished him off. In fact, since physical damage seemed to be the way to go, it looked like Mike was going to be the main damage dealer in this fight. Considering how much damage he did with both of his attacks, this wasn't an unreasonable assumption. 'Although it looks like only my physical damage is doing anything. That means that I should lay off the Tamashī no Ha for the rest of this fight. I'm going to need to save all of my MP for the Spirit Blade.' With that decided, he charged the Blank Mage again, this time to attack with two 'normal' slashes

Mike, instead of using more MP on Tamashi no Ha, would save it for Zandaka, as it would have had to been active to use the Tamashi no Ha, and Spirit Blade. Both total made Mike consume 71 MP per minute, which was a large amount for the amount Mike had. He attempted to just attack twice with just a normal slash of his Spirit Blade, the physical damage being stronger in this case since he was a mage and thus his physical defense wasn't as much. First he had to get close though to close the gap, which made the first slash not as accurate, but being able to attack up close and personal with the second slash made it harder to dodge.
Attack 1: 62 + 25 Distance Penalty - 24 Seishin no Ken (DEX) - 18 Attack Speed = 45 (Miss)

Attack 2: 85 - 25 Distance Bonus - 24 Seishin no Ken (DEX) - 18 Attack Speed = 18 (Miss)
Unfortunately the man was decently swift on his feet. Mages usually were, despite how they were in RPG games. Since they usually didn't wield weapons, mages in the Abyss practiced their dodging rather than focus on practicing with a weapon so that they could dodge any sort of attack, Mike's first strike missing by a large margin, but the second one was off by just a hair. If Mike had just been a small bit swifter in that moment of the second slash, it would have connected.

Silas watched as Sasha was sliding her hand over the wall to find a secret hallway. It didn't take long before she had discovered something, of which Silas couldn't really see what it was, although it most likely was a thin crack in the wall. A part of the wall disappeared into thin air and revealed a long corridor which hopefully would lead them to the others. "Great job Sasha!" Silas cheered before reverting back to his monotonous voice. "Now let's head in there and meet up with Keiko. We cannot let Erica die in vain, and I think you also want to know who or what is behind all this." although in text form it would sound really inspiring, Silas' dull voice made it a bit bland.

Silas kept his katana equipped in case enemies would respawn or something. Sayo said that every enemy was wiped out, but going by gaming logic they could respawn at any moment. Safety first they always say. As they were running through the long corridor Silas focused on his breathing with the Ban Family Breathing Technique while at the same time training his Ban Family Foot Technique. He didn't want to waste any time. Silas hoped he would have built up enough energy to land a powerful hit when entering the battlefield. He saw the end of the corridor and accelerated, when arriving in the battlefield Silas saw the Blank Mage in front of him. Without hesitation he shouted "Daichizan!" and performed said move immediately hoping to land a good attack on the humanoid.

Silas and Sasha both began to move quickly down the secret passage to the next hall. With the foot technique and their own base speed they were able to run pretty quickly, which they would need to do so. When they got there, the scene was indeed quite the battle, especially with what looked like some large demon dog trapped inside of some cage made of bone, the cage for some reason slashing at the dog trapped inside. None of that seemed to matter though as Silas focused his attention, and energy, on performing a high powered Daichizan on the Blank Mage.

As he ran, he tried to gather energy through his breathing, to try and power up his attack.
Energy Flow: 1 (Critical!)
Perhaps it was Silas' determination to fight, or just his own natural mental focus. But he was able to gather and flow the energy through him with ease with the Breathing Technique. As he focused to make it stronger, he would make the energy flow through him with more power and speed with each breath, having to make the breaths a bit stronger. It was clearly taking a toll on his MP, making it drain faster, but he would be able to explicitly feel more and more power moving through his entire body with each strengthened breath.

By the time he got there, the power flowing strengthened every aspect of his body, making him stronger and faster, moreso than he was before. It was simply a way to strengthen his slashes, but he felt physically augmented by whatever was happening.

This allowed him to charge forward even more quickly to attempt his high powered slash at the Blank Mage, able to close the distance a bit more quickly than normal to make the distance factor not matter as much. The attack was so fast though, that instead of trying to take advantage of the distance to dodge, he raised up his guard instead by raising up his arms.
Daichizan: 8 - 39 Ban Family Sword Technique - 12 Skill Bonus = -42 (Max Damage!)

Damage Dealt: 153
The powered blade seemed to slam into his arms, hitting some sort of tangible wall. However, the wall was so flimsily made that it was more for just slowing the blade slightly, managing to stop a tiny bit of the incredibly powerful slash to lower the damage, the man letting out a loud cry as the blade still managed to slash across his torso as the power of the slash meant to cut earth broke through his guard. A large, bloody gash was visible across his torso now, the man full of wounds since, unlike the Gamers, their opponent was a normal human who could be wounded.

He only had a tenth of his HP left. He was pretty bad off, but still seemed quite confident for some reason, as well as a bit pissed off.

From that display of power though, Silas was awarded with an array of windows. Three of them stating that the Daichizan, Breathing Technique, and Inner Ki Technique Skills all had gone up in level by 1.

To her surprise, she managed to find the supposed secret entrance after a brief moment of inspection. If it had taken any longer, Sasha was sure she would have lost it and opened a hole in the wall instead. Nodding to Silas, she followed him into the corridor. The duo sped towards the end, reaching the main route that Henry's group took. A few moments of silent exertion later, they arrived at the door where the sounds of fighting could be heard from. Silas didn't stop to think; he only accelerated upon seeing the exit and charged headlong into it.

Sasha entered the room seconds after Silas. She was momentarily disoriented by the confusing interior: there was the rest of the group, but also several other beings. One of them being a man clad in robed. His get-up was practically a neon sign with the words, 'I'm the bad guy.' Silas was already speeding towards him like a homing missile. Sasha decided to do what she did best. Using the distraction that Silas caused, she sped around the edge of the room, both swords already drawn. Even though she reached Taichi several seconds after Silas's attack, he was reeling from the heavy blow that was Daichizan. Once she was in position, she would execute the Daichizan, hoping to catch him unaware.

Wait a minute.

Grinning, she said instead, "Dual Daichizan!" Instead of using one blade, she exerted all her strength, all her frustration, into the two swords in her hands. She didn't really care for Erica, but she was still pissed at the hunters. If they were going to capture the gamers for profit, it should only be fair that they are prepared to face their counter-attack.

While Taichi was distracted by Silas and Mike's melee assaults, Sasha would hope to be able to sneak around quickly in attempts to get a Sneak Attack off, drawing her Tanto and Wakizashi in the process.
Sasha Stealth: 55 - 42 Stealth - 4 Skill Bonus = 9

Taichi Observation: 24
Sasha's attempt at stealth was indeed successful. With Taichi being distracted by the large slash across his chest from Silas' Daichizan, Sasha would be able to sneak up behind Taichi and, using the Dual Wielding Skill's extra affect of using 'Dual Attack Skills', she was able to execute Daichizan with two blades, having to slash with the Wakizashi first since it was longer before moving in to slash again with the Tanto, able to do this one after another with great speed.
Wakizashi Daichizan: 57 - 32 Ban Family Sword Technique - 14 Skill Bonus + 9 Dual Wielding Penalty = 20 (Max Damage)

Damage Dealt: 159

Tanto Daichizan: 69 - 32 Ban Family Sword Technique - 11 Skill Bonus + 9 Dual Wielding Penalty = 35 (Hit)

Damage Dealt: 156
The first slash hit dead on, slashing right across his back. The second hit was a powerful upward slash from the dagger, digging deep into the man's back, the Sneak Attack damage being added here from the small bladed weapon. The damage from both attacks made his HP drop down to a -175, below 0 even. The attacks were bloody, blood having gotten on both of Sasha's blades and on Silas' blade.

The mage coughed up blood, the hood falling off his head as it revealed his face. He just gave a smirk, despite looking as though he was on death's door. "Con... gratulations". He coughed up blood once again. "You're now killers... blood is on your hands..." He stumbled backwards now, laughing a little. "To think these little fish would have fangs, still... its not like you didn't have help from much stronger sharks... so you're still weak... and have now stepped into a world of much..." he coughed up blood once again. "stronger predators... I hope that you... enjoyed it".

With that, the man fell over, dead. Windows appeared before each of the gamers, stating the following.

Well, for Sasha, Daichizan and Sneak Expertise leveled up. For Ominal, Mike, and Ren, the following window appeared.

For Sasha and Silas, a window appeared similar to that, but only half of the EXP that the first three earned was what they earned, probably because they arrived late. All of them probably would have gotten more if Touma and Nero hadn't dealt that 500 damage to the mage. The bone cage around Galkyr shattered as the space around all of them began to crack. Ren, after the cage shattered, aimed his palm at Galkyr. "Dismiss Summon". With those words, the demon dog disappeared, revealing to those who didn't know that Ren was the one who summoned that demon. After a few moments of the space cracking though, it shattered, revealing a much larger room with a desk at the end, the enforcers also in the room.

"Well... you all did pretty good". Henry walked over to them now, his staff vanishing as it turned into a ring on his finger. "Provided you all did have help, numbers, and an opponent who underestimated you, but you all still did good nonetheless".

"As for your original purpose in coming here..." Keiichi spoke up now, moving over to the desk as he began to search through it. "The answers are probably in here, the reason why the Void Wizard wanted you all to come here". He searched through the desk, searching through every part, but there were no signs of anything.

Nero walked over to it. "Let me take care of this". He put his hand on the desk, and after a few moments every compartment and hidden compartment was burst open. Nothing dropped out of the desk except for a single key, which Nero picked up. He threw it to Ren, who caught it. "The answers probably lie with that, go search around while we clean up things here". With that, Nero left the room in a cloud of black that enveloped his form before it vanished, along with him. Some form of Teleportation skill most likely, one that Ren was very interested in, before looking down at the key.

"Henry, you go with the Gamers. The rest of us will make sure there are no remaining enemies or any other secrets here". Keiichi spoke now, him, Keiko, and Touma leaving the room. Henry walked over to the gamers.

"Well, looks like we're still together for a little longer. Lets go check out that storage room, we may find something there".

Ren agreed with this plan, walking out of the room and, if the others followed, they would soon arrive at that locked room that they had bypassed before. Ren put the key into the hole and turned it, the door unlocking with a click. Henry stepped forward now, staff appearing in his hand. He opened the door now, slowly peeking in as he opened it a crack. "Alright... its all clear..." He opened the door fully, walking in.

In the storage room there were alot of crates, about a couple dozen of them, along with a bookshelf and a filing cabinet. "Ill check the cabinet..." Henry moved to the filing cabinet, opening it up as he started to rifle through it slowly.

Ren, in the meantime, moved to the bookshelf and began to scan over the shelf, using Observe every now and again.

Mike was pretty disappointed; only 20 exp for a boss like that was a huge letdown. He didn't even get a level up from all of that. So far, coming here had made him weaker! 'Worst. Dungeon. Run. Ever' he complained in his head. Dismissing his Spirit Sword, Mike followed the others inside. Deciding to check the crates, he tried to open them with his hands, a feat he felt he could preform with he STR stat being boosted by Zandaka. Once he opened them, he planed to use Observe on everything he could find

"You know, he may have lived if he did the epic boss detail and shut the door behind us, stopping people from just running in on him." Lucian stepped over the now dead body of Taichi. "Good to see you two are alive and kicking," He nodded to both Silias and Sasha, before continuing to search for what it was that they had even come there for.

Well, with Ren covering the bookshelf, he should find anything that is there, and Henry is on the cabinet, should be fine as well, Mike, might need help when it comes to looking for things. Lucian chuckled quietly to himself as he started on the other end of the crates from Mike, "I'll help you out over here Mike." Lucian then proceeded to attempt to observe the crates, then try to open them, and observe the material on the inside as well. One could never be to careful after what they had just gone through.

Listening to Taichi's final words, Sasha raised her arms. Splatters of thick red liquid painted most of her forearms. It wasn't disgusting, on the contrary, Sasha found the way the reflections danced on the slick crimson surface mesmerizing. Stronger predators?

"I have." Sasha replied to the dead man. She flicked some blood off her swords and stowed them away in her inventory. Ren, Omnial and Mike seemed to be injured but still alive. It was going to be a bummer telling them what happened to Erica. They were strangely quiet about the matter as they went to search for their spoils of victory. Perhaps Keiko told them already?

"Sorry for the kill-steal, totally didn't mean it." Sasha joked as the group finally reunited. Looking around the room, she decided the bookcase might contain something of interest. Ren was already there, scanning through the titles. She joined him.

"He must have been a pretty tough guy? You're all injured," Sasha said as she manually took out a random book.

"Tougher than one would think for a mage". Ren replied as Sasha came up to him. "He had 1,500 HP and 3,000 MP. He was able to copy my Spells and throw them back at us with much more power, having easily wiped out all of Lucian's elementals and one of my demons, having trapped the other demon in some strange bone cage. Not to mention that instant use spell he had that pretty much made all defense useless, did 150 damage, and was nearly impossible to dodge..." Ren spoke in monotone as he searched through the shelf, those last words making him think a bit. "And if there are even stronger opponents than one we wouldn't have been able to scratch him without the help of Touma and Nero...then you all are in serious trouble".

Ren went silent after that, just shaking his head. Ren felt like he was on the right track, as he was currently Level 20. But everyone else was still around Level 15 or so, the level gap between them probably due to Ren being Level 9 when they had first met.

Ren did notice though that everyone's HP was still down from the health bars in the corner of his eye that displayed party member info, so he raised his hand above his head. "Healing Wave". After several seconds of some water that gave off a gentle glow flowing around his hand, a wave would flow out from that. The central target was whoever in the room still had the lowest HP. Ren used that twice, making sure that everyone's HP was full, and if anyone did have missing HP then having their HP restored by the healing spell would feel really, really good, like their pains and even fatigue being drained away by a gentle, soothing current. After that, Ren went back to searching the shelf, Ren's own MP quite low now since he had used alot of it for a Giga Spiral Bolt that had missed its target, not that Sasha and Silas would know about that.

The random book that Sasha had pulled out was titled A Beginner's Guide to Spatial Magic, judging by the window that appeared stating that she had obtained the Skill Book titled as such.

If Mike and Lucian used Observe on the crate, they would find out that the crates... were literally just crates. No traps on them at all as they opened somewhat easily, more easily for Mike though thanks to his STR score, but with a bit of effort they could be opened without too much trouble. The contents of the crate that Mike opened would be some strange crystals inside of glass jars, a total of 12 of them.

Observe on them revealed the following.

Henry looked back at Mike as he opened the crate and went over, eyes widening as he saw the contents. "Damn... these guys have Antinite as well? That stuff is also hard to get, and dangerous to handle, as improper handling or usage can drain all of the Mana from your body in a matter of seconds..." Henry took the lid of the crate and put it back on the box, sealing it shut with a small spell. "Nice find though, but lets keep this box closed for now..." After that, he went back to the filing cabinet to do some more reading of their files.

"That's nifty," Sasha commented as Ren waved his hands around to fill up everyone's health bars. She didn't expect Ren to give her a detailed report on the specifics of the battle, but he did. Seems like quite the battle happened while they were busy finding their way here.

Looking back at the dusty tome in her hands, the pop-up window identified its arcane title as being A beginner's guide to Spatial Magic. She showed it to Ren. "Have a look at this. Spatial magic... sounds powerful. I can't learn it yet, though. Any luck for you?"

Lucian's first crate search would reveal the following data from a box of what appeared to be 24 vials all neatly stored, the vials a bit large and full of blue potion, most likely mana potion.
