The combination of setting sun, brightly-colored surroundings, and serene stillness gave Haven a dreamlike quality to Sanguin. Even at the twilight hour, towns like this were never as empty-feeling as this; then again, not every settlement had managed to garner an eerie reputation in such a short time, as this one had. Stepping off the train into Haven was like stepping into an oil painting, and immediately Sanguin was weary. Wolves were wild, true enough, but they were social creatures, and a lack of life made them feel vulnerable. For the Blood Moon Child, it was no different. “I hear you. This place is too quiet.” In comparison to the bustling, fast-pace activity that had greeted them at Magnolia Station, this was practically a graveyard. She didn't know what he meant by 'stay out of trouble', since her understanding of the job made their mission out to be 'help the town'. “I know what I'm doin'. You can take it easy if you want, but I'm gettin' down to business.” She moved until she stood in the very center of the main road. “There's safety in the shadows, sure, but there's more safety in numbers. False Legion!” Immediately, the air next to her shimmered, signaling that the spell had been cast despite the lack of a magic circle. Ten more Sanguins, each exactly like the original, appeared around her. They shuffled around a bit, before one emerged to stand near Ben. It was impossible to tell if it was the real one or a fake. “They'll walk through the town. They can't communicate with me, but if one is destroyed, I'll feel it, and Izzy might see 'em too. Pretty cool, yeah?” Without waiting for affirmation from Ben, nine other Sanguins dispersed in all directions. One retraced their earlier steps to stand by the train platform, and the others moved off. None had their weapons drawn, but they could ready their shields and scimitars at a moment's notice, not that it would do any of them -save one- any good.
