"HOLY FUCKING, HOLY FUCKING, SHIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!" I'd only been awake for an hour or so and I've ran from freakishly large dogs, snakes, feline creatures, flocks of rainbow colored birds, and whatever twisted creature you can think of. Like seriously though, I'm normally very well put together, but at that moment I was hysterical. Breathing like an obese douchebag I stopped to give my lungs a rest and slid down a tree to sit on the ground with my knees hugged to my chest. Deep breaths Gabriel, deep breaths. I looked up over my knees, through my hair, at the world around me now that I wasn't running from anything. The hell? Purple skies, trees of stupid colors, those dogs I'd seen... I saw a snake with a freaking rabbit's head ok? I was not in the mood for any more weirdness, but here I was, stuck in cotton candy hell. At that present moment i wanted to go home for once in my miserable life. Sure I'd have to deal with my overbearing mother and that... that kid who lived with us. Why did my mother ever think it was a good idea to bring in a troubled kid from out of nowhere?! That asshole did things when we were alone that I would never ever be able to utter to another human being... Okay, nevermind, I loved this place now. It was glorious, my prayers have been answered. I am now free, free at last, thank God all mighty, FREE.AT.LAST. I stood up with a fierce yet unbecoming giggle in my throat, and then? Then? I danced, cept not really. But in my head? Yeah sure. I looked around one more time to make sure there was nothing creepy dangerous, stuck my hands in my pockets, and wandered off in some godforsaken direction. Whatever direction it was, it wasn't toward home, and for now that was a good thing. I knew that later this place would make me want to run home, but I wanted to enjoy my freedom.
