I'm sorry, I know that must be hard. Plus you were not in the wrong. It is a parents job to be the bigger adult and ask what is the matter instead of harassing. I'm sorry that it lead to him doing such a thing to his own child but I say you don't need people like that. It sucks when family does those things. You didn't deserve that.
