Former Occupation: Physicist/engineer He worked at Nasa helping to develop advanced propulsion technologies such as plasma engines and their Alcubierre drive design.

Skills: Electronics and machinery. He is an expert at fixing things and designing new things. He can combine salvaged components in many useful ways, even if they aren't meant to work together. He picked up a bit of fighting skill from dealing with the Air Force, but he's by no means a skilled fighter.

Mental Description: He is a bit of a geek, obsessing over what he's working with to the point of almost being a perfectionist. While he's willing to release things before they've been perfected, he'll usually keep working on them, trying to improve things.

Why did they decide to freeze you?: They knew they'd need engineers to rebuild the world, so they asked him to join the project. He agreed, knowing that it would be the only way he would survive a nuclear war.
