Name: Evangeline ‘Eva’ Thorne Age: 20 Appearance: Standing at the meager height of 5 foot 2 inches”, and weighing a scrawny 104 pounds, Eva is a small framed and frail looking young woman. Her head is heart shaped, and with full lips, a small pointy nose, and wide hazel eyes, her appearance gives her an innocent and attractive look. Her skin is a pale, almost porcelain color. Smooth along her face and hands, Evangeline wears body fitted clothing, and big sweaters to hide the number of scars marking her inner forearms and upper thighs. Her hair is a long strawberry blond that falls just past her hips. Smooth and straight, she often tames her hair into two braids causing her thick locks to become wavy and soft whenever undone. Nationality: Caucasian American - German, Irish Personality: Seen as mousy, and unusual by most, Eva is just as feeble as she looks. Fidgety, and almost always tense in person, abrupt movements and loud noise tend to easily startle her. Carrying a pessimistic vibe that would make most uncomfortable, typical first impressions with Evangeline are usually awkward, and quick. Lacking in social skills, and only capable of shy and quiet responses in front of strangers, making friends is a struggle she gave up long ago. Most confrontations usually end with others drifting away from her, so after facing the same outcome time after time and wanting avoid getting hurt, she’s stopped making personal attempts to bond with others. Despite this, Eva yearns for friendship and some sort of acknowledgement. Having grown tired of isolating herself, and being isolated by others. While its obvious she has problems, she has never opened up or shared her problems with anyone. A self destructive habit thats lead to her downfall many times, but her insecurity and fear of burdening others has left her emotionally blocked off. Past all these faults, she is much more then a timid, and insecure girl. Intelligent, gentle, and empathetic towards those she’s comfortable with, Eva cherishes any and all kindness shown towards her. However, whenever shown this sort of kindness and growing comfortable with said person, she has a tendency to become a bit clingy and over-protective. Background & Death: Born in Denver, Colorado and raised like any typical child, Evangeline grew up innocent, and optimistic; holding many dreams and aspirations for the near future. A rambunctious and curious little girl who would question everything and anything she saw, and with age she soon began to ask more complicated questions, ones that her father never expected to hear until she was much older. While the mystery hadn’t been one to trouble her at the time, Eva was fully aware that her mother was not apart of her life. So when she began to direct these questions towards her father, he knew there was no need to hide her from the truth any longer. Meeting her for the ‘first’ time, Eva was taken to visit her mother at the cities Residential Treatment Center. It was an odd routine of monthly visits, and while she never quite understood why her mother had to stay at such a facility, Eva soon came to learn by first hand experience. With her mothers side of the genetics passed onto her, Evangeline had changed from a sociable and cheerful little girl to a detached shell of a person by her early teenage years. Troubled by depression, anxiety, and terrifying hallucinations her mental state only withered away with age and before graduating high school she had become a usual at the cities inpatient hospital. Numbed by medication, and traumatized by constant episodes, her life had became a constant effort of trial and error. A never ending roller coaster of ups and downs that she, nor any sort of medication, could control. After graduation, Evangeline had hopes that moving out of state and going to college would help give her room to recover, but unfortunately it only made things worse. Ending up in inpatient care after one of her many breakdowns, she finally made the tough and terrifying decision to go into long-term treatment at one of the residential centers within the state. Voluntarily staying for a few months and receiving in-patient care for what she hoped would be the last time, she returned to Colorado to live with her father in hopes that it would help her recovery. Even putting off College and work to finally focus on herself. Despite her optimism and the many skills she had learned from treatment, Evangeline committed suicide three months later due to what doctors say was an ‘adverse' reaction to her new medication.

Name: The Doppelgänger Represents: To become one’s own worst enemy. Suffocated by self-hatred, delusions, and mental illness. Appearance: Unsettling as it is, The Doppelgänger portrays itself as an almost exact replica of Eva, however there are distinct differences about its appearance. Open cuts and scars covered by thick bandages litter the Mori’s arms and legs. Its eyes are fully black, void and emotionless, while a single third eye sits at the center of its forehead. Carrying a rather menacing aura around, it almost always has a large smile on its face. As a troubling reminder, a foot long rope is also tied in a noose around its throat. Abilities:

Nothing to Fear, but Fear Itself — [ Psychosomatic Illusions ]; Haunted by many horrifying images, and creatures throughout her life, Evangeline has the unique ability to materialize these beasts to fight for her. Unable to activate this power by sheer will, Eva seems to only be able to tap into this power whenever she is injured, or in a dire situation. During which time she must remain conscious, and maintain a stable and focused mental state in order for the ability to stay in effect. With little experience of this skill, and an incredible lack of control over her own mental state, she cannot always direct and maintain control over her manifestations. Defending their vessel is the manifestations main priority, so if Eva is in a stressed or emotional state, there is a chance the creatures will fall into ‘rage’ like state—hunting, and attacking anything close or within the vicinity of Eva. The manifestations can be killed like any other living being, but its likely it will cause her some sort of damage, mentally or physically. If she’s rendered unconscious, or killed, any creature summoned will almost immediately disappear as well.[/*]
No Harm, No Foul — [ Force-Field Generation ]; With a clear mind , Eva can generate an unseen wall, or field of energy to protect her, or others she focuses on. Concentration is required for this ability. The more focus put in, the more durable the force-fields becomes—working vice-versa as well—the weaker the concentration, the weaker the force-field. While typically used for defensive purposes, Eva can catch objects within her field of energy, allowing her to shoot back the captured object and send it flying back with equal momentum. Lacking any sort of skills in aiming, this is a technique that more then often goes wrong however. Impenetrable by most solid objects, and sounds, any hard damage taken by her force-fields is often reflected onto her, be it through physical injuries such as bruises, or a mental injuries such a weakened or debilitated mental state. Long term use of this ability can leave Eva weak, sometimes suffering nose bleeds, or even fainting spells in the most extreme cases. [s]In cases of anxiety attacks, and mild breakdowns, she has been known to lock herself in a dome field for days at a time.[/s] [/*]
