((Collab Post)) [Irene & Matt] As you got closer to the stairwell, you spy a Matt. Covered in blood. Hope none of that is his...It'd be problematic if he died right now. Just a bit. Seeing several zombies attacking him, you rush over to help. "Are you okay?" you ask Matt. “Yeah, just a bit tired. Those zombies are a higher level.” You're relieved to hear that Matt wasn't injured. "How are they higher level? This isn't some sort of videogame." “Adults are among the students, probably from outside. We should come back with more people. I think the explosion happened by the parking lot, knocking out the power and allowing zombies to get in.” "That would make sense. How many more people do you think we'd need?" “Two or three fighters, and one or two to seal up the exit.” "We could also create a distraction to lessen the amount of zombies we have to face. They seem to be responsive to noise and the prospect of easy prey." “We’ll have to eventually kill off all of the zombies in here though. More zombies running around will just lead to more work later. Hmm but sealing up the building takes priority. ... Who will be the decoy?” "We could grab a person that's dying, shove them outside of the breach, and that'll attract some of the zombies in the school outside again." Wow Irene, just a minute earlier you were upset about that kid and now you're suggesting this? This is for the sake of our survival. And it's not like anyone could save them at that point. I'm just making best use of resources. Since when were humans lives merely resources? You don't have the right to force them to do anything. I'm not forcing them to do anything. It's their choice in the end. You know very well what you're actually doing. It's a necessity at this point. You disgust me. “That might just bring more of them inside. Also, we can’t even get to the breach, there are still zombies down there. As if to prove his point, a zombie clumsily appears on the landing and begins to climb the MST stairs. Hiding her internal struggle, Irene replied, "We could unlatch a window in one of the classrooms and throw the decoy out. That would attract them." You were never able to decide whether the mind or heart was more important. And this is what happens when you can't. Grimacing slightly, Irene walks over to the zombie and roughly shoves it with her shield, sending it toppling down the first set of stairs. “That’ll work. I’m not sure everyone will be willing to go along with that though. And it’ll make things harder with the others if they find out.” "I can probably get us a volunteer. That way less people will object." So he cares more about appearances than the actual actions themselves.. “Who the heck would volunteer for that?” "Don't worry about that. I think you forgot about my manipulation skills." “Alright. Let’s go gather what we need then. We need to use the elevator to get the supplies for sealing the doors downstairs, but the power’s out. ... Ugh I guess we’d have to carry it down then.” "Should I accompany you? It's probably better if we stick together from here on out rather than me wandering and acting independently." “I suppose. I don’t want to let any more zombies come up from there though.” "Who will guard the stairwell? My stamina is pretty bad." “Hmm Kate could. I’ll ask her to.” "Alright, let's go and get those supplies. And if we find a critically injured person, let me deal with them."
