Those are essentially just the two types, but the labels were given by society. Kages don't really have to care about anything, they aren't obligated to have any morals. They can be "neutral" in a sense. But 99% of the time, a kage can be seen as "good" or "bad" and is given the respective name. If a kage tries to influence you to doing anything that you would question otherwise, or if a kage shows signs of malice in its intentions, then that is an onikage and the host is referred to as a conduit. Anything else is usually just a guardian.
