Full Name: Alec Miller. Age: 35. Alias: Lighthouse. Alignment: Heroes. Description: First thing that you'll notice when you first get to meet Alec are his many scars. He has one that crosses his nose and a big wound that covers most of his right eye, especially his eyelids. Off-duty, he sports a green jacket and a pair of beige pants along with a nice pair of black military boots. His Lighthouse alter ego wears a standard spec ops suit, with a mask covering his nose and anything below it. Another defining trait that he possesses are his radiant eyes, courtesy of his powers. He stands at 5'10 and weighs 179 kilograms. Powers: Penetrative vision - Alec's most precious ability is the penetrative vision. With it, he can clearly see through a 12 inches thick wall, and I'm not exaggerating the 'clearly' part. He can make out important features such as tattoos, birthmarks, battle scars, et cetera. As the ability is obviously connected to his brain, Alec can tap on his brain willingly and then fix his vision to cover as much field as he wants. Which leads us to his other ability Cerebro mode; rational and experimental - There are rare moments where we get to experience something in slow-motion. Alec can do that everyday, basically. As mentioned previously, he can tap into his brain willingly and fix his vision, but he can also switch between two neural modes that affect his battle performance - rational and experimental. Rational is related to rational decision making part of the brain (hence the name). It allows him to assess his chances at winning a battle, find out new items to use for different purposes or even create an escape route. The experimental mode, in the other hand, is where the fun is. Taping into experimental mode allows his adrenaline levels to increase, which in turn makes everything in slow-mo. In reality, it's actually him who is moving slightly faster than your average joe. Needless to say, the experimental mode is risky. If shit hits the fan, he might not be able to switch back to normal without having himself drained of stamina first Skills: While both of Alec's powers serve him good in a battle, they don't directly lead to physical harm. That's where Alec comes in. As a former NAVY Seals operative, Miller is proficient in light and heavy firearms. He is also very good at Krav Maga, an Israeli fighting technique which relies on quick takedowns. Equipment: Since Alec mostly relies on his gained skills, he is almost all the time in the background, providing covering fire. He uses a Walther 2000 sniper rifle just for that. To avoid close encounters, he uses a FN Five-Seven w/ talon grips and a silencer, so as to get a clean kill. When close combat can't be avoided, his Tracker knife does the job. As means of transportation, he owns a MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) Plasan Sandcat Ranking: C Rank Brief History: Before his powers began to surface, Alec was a decorated Navy SEALs operative working under the guise of a secret sub-branch codenamed 'Arclight'. The revelation of his powers led to him losing his mind and, with it, his job as a NAVY Seals. However, the worst was yet to come. His fiancé, Penelope, who was an investigative journalist working on a case possibly related to the metahumans, died by the hands of one. Fueled by grief Alec snapped and went on to adapt an anti-hero persona called Metakiller. He would give himself to anyone who wanted the head of a metahuman in a plate, no exception. After being saved by one of the members of the Magi superhero squad, Alec soon began to have a gradual change of heart. He realized the error of his ways and began to consider the possibility not every metahuman is evil He went cold for two months before finally resurfacing by the alias of Lighthouse, a reference to his radiating eyes.
